For me it's a definitely yes. He may not be tactically astute enough ever to take a team into the top bracket of teams, but that sort ambition has to be put on hold because right now we need impact or we're going the **** down.

And this time, we don't have the bottle, spine or passion to get ourselves straight back up.

We need a manager to come in now and Moyes would be perfect for this job IMO. He will impact the squad, get them playing, and, really, tactics are trivial when it comes to our survival this season.

We have the quality but we don't have the team spirit or determination, and the manager's position has become untenable.

Personally I would prefer we went for Rafa. However, if its a choice between Davey Moyes and keeping Steve then its a no brainer.

I doubt Rafa would even pick up the phone to us mate.

Pearson would be my first choice, followed by Moyes second.

No. He's been sacked from his last two jobs.

Who was that manager in charge of Blackburn a few seasons ago? Steve Keen was it? Even he was better than McClaren. That how shyte the clown is,

I'd take Bamber Gascoigne if it meant seeing the back of McClaren and PL survival

Get in for Mourinho he will keep you up, but not Poyet before the derby game ! I reckon Norwich will be without a manger as well on Monday. It will feel better if we both went down (SAFC) so no mickey taking on either part.

They are closing loads of greggs. Surely some spotty knacker from the cheese bake section is willing to take it.

Your defence is ****ing **** to put it mildly, Moyes would be a disaster for that reason in my opinion (if you're employing somebody to keep you up that is) because he's a defensively minded coach, he would tighten you up for sure if you had the players but you don't, they're all terrible.

With that in mind, you need somebody to come in and breathe confidence into your players and focus on getting goals out of a team bang out of any sort of confidence. Sherwood worked for Villa and he could work for you, or somebody inspiring, with passion.

You definitely do not need a defensive minded coach like Moyes, trust me on that, you don't have enough games left.

Probably your only choice, unless you fancy a manager who can't keep you up.

Never underestimate either an out of work manager's desire to make money, nor Lee Charnley's ability to find an obscure name plucked out of a hat.
