Agree they should all be long gone, but how can it happen when there is no one to take over. Think about it, Charnley's inability to plan any kind of contingency is actually keeping them all in a job. It's a bit like sacking all the staff in a shop and asking the customers to put there own purchases through the tills and pay on their way out. It just ain't going to happen. It game over all round for us. Nothing they can do will help because they have no clue how to sort this out and throwing more money at it isn't going to solve it. You cannot buy your way out of this level of incompetence.
Sack him. Get Rodgers in. Accept we are getting relegated and plan for next season. Get rid of charnley. Get rid of Carr. It's time for a change. It's long overdue and at present we are going down anyways. So let's put mclaren out of his misery.
My heart is breaking looking at this, my God how far have we fallen, it's shameful. Is it possible to die of embarrassment ? I really don't have the strength to be angry anymore. I just want this circus to stop.
McLaren's position is untenable now. I therefore fully expect a statement from the club saying how they are right behind him and he will remain in his position for the rest of the season.
His position is completely untenable now, letting him stay another game is tantamount to accepting relegation. With 10 games to go there's still a chance, but absolutely no chance with McClaren. Get rid and take a gamble on Rodger's/Pearson/Moyes whoever. In one of our "easiest" games in our survival run in we've been taken to the cleaners by Bournemouth, this farce cannot go on.
I admire his ability to stick at it mind. The fact is he is clinging on because he wants the money and the club won't sack him unless there is a way of mitigating the cost. Well this time it's going to cost the club about 100 million plus now. He has basically wasted 100 million plus lost us the same with the relegation. He has been the worst manager in our history. Not because of the position we are in but because of the manner of it all. And..... He is on the board have you ever heard of something so shanking ****. I am saying right now as long as mclaren is in charge we will not win a game. The players are not giving 50% for him. It's an opportunity this for the club to save some face. Sack him now and get Rodgers in. Or moyes.
I've laughed hard since he was appointed but there comes a point when you **** your pants because your laughing to hard.
why oh why oh why could they not even see this from the start .. fatso got look to get that bauldy **** oot aswell
The problem as we all know is as David Ginola said - it solves very little. McClaren's a ****, Charnley's a ****, Ashley's a ****. Who do you trust to make a good decision? Who among them is a Premier League person? We've been a Championship club since Ashley took over, we've just taken a while and the good grace of other clubs to achieve it. This is a disaster, it's been coming, and it's not going away until fatty sells up. I cannot fathom how these fcking morons have made such a grotesquerie of it all, yet here we are.
The man has become a multi millionaire for being a complete failure. Wait for the sack and pick up the cash. Hasn't an ounce of pride or he'd have walked after the match.
Does Ashley even care about NUFC at the moment though? His main business has just been booted out of the FTSE 100 and his shares are nose diving. Along with the pretty much constant bad publicity that SD gets and the pressure being cranked up against him by investors to either take SD back into private hands or step aside. He will have 'lost' more money in the last few weeks than everything that he has spunked into the club from the beginning. I'm not too sure that we are even on his radar. That's the thing see.................. the sums of money that circulate around the club seem huge to the likes of us, but to a multi billionaire like Ashley............. not so much. Don't get me wrong, he wont want to loose the TV money that kicks in next year, but I suspect that his eye is elsewhere at the moment. At least he has Charnley and Carr overseeing things for him.................... he must sleep like a baby knowing those two are running things.
