Done similar on our board. Mixed views so far.

You put a 20 quid bet on your team at odds of 5000/1 to win the league.

10 games to go you are 3 points clear, the bookies (ladbrokes) offer you 29,000 quid to cash out early.

Would you take the 29k and leg it, or are your balls massive and you see it out for the 100k?

This has just happened with a Leicester fan. Took the money.

    I would also.

    You?

Hmmm, well I've heard of many people cashing or not cashing out.

There was a case where a guy was gonna win 35K+ with 15 games to go, and was offered a few grand to cash out. Obviously a lot can happen in 15 games, and Leicester still were like 3rd favourites. He chose to reject the cash out, and so would I.

But 29k? It's a toughy. I already have plenty of savings of around half of that amount, so I think I'd probably see it out for the 100k, especially seeing as Leicester have the easier run in.

Spurs have harder PL games plus they also have europa league.

Paddy power let you partially cash out.
But in a straight take it or leave it scenario I'd take it.
Then i'd probably put £9k of it back on Leicester.

TBH I don't think many on here would have put that bet on in the first place. After all it is NUFC that we support!!

Ideally I would raise as much money as I possibly could from various sources and then kept the bet and with the money raised I would lay as much as I could on Betfair at upto 4.0 (3/1).

But for simplicity's sake I would just take the money and have it back in my betting bank after a nice day out at the off-licence.

I think I'd probably bank about £20k and hope that my team won the league and the remaining £9k would turn into around £31k.

£51k best case scenario and £20k worst case scenario.
