Security's lax around here I'm going for a 2 - 0 win today. It seems my optimism's back! Now that Curt's proven he's got some match day nowse let's hope Guids takes this on board and hopefully they can work well together and compliment each other. I think my optimism-o-meter is overloading now
If Guido listens to Curtis, with Curts attacking ideas and Guidos defensive organisation etc, we could have a very good unit.
I hope we win as the result against Arsenal, counts for **** all if we don't. My only worry is we still don't look like we can score goals. If we win today it will be a 1-0. I sit in the south stand and someone told me the other day that the last time we scored in that goal was August, ****ing August. can anyone confirm this. We always used to be dangerous attacking that goal, seems not any more.
Probably because we haven't done much attacking this season and when we have, that useless lump up front was always offside. I expect to see plenty of attacking today as a win will all but guarantee our safety imo.
It'll be fascinating to see the line up today and how we set up from the start. We are capable but.... At least we've seen Curt can shake things up if needed, so I'm still optimistic that even if Guids sets us up negatively from the off Curt can do something about it.
Thinking positively... Sunderland might get a point at most at Southampton so hopefully Bournemouth win or draw at Newcastle and we win and extend our lead. Looking forward to the game but in equal measures of excitement and nervousness!
I'm more nervous today then I've ever been , huge fork in the freeway . The biggest plus today , imo , is the confidence created from Wednesday . We came into March like a lion , we need to leave with a pride . Anxious to see the line up.
