I used to enter lots of competitions and won VHS movies, x months supply of things but have never won the lotto beyond £80.. or the usual bets which were a little more. Have any of you lads and lasses ever won any big money, competitions, beauty contests (obviously not Nev) etc.... ?
oh, I won the cadbury's national art exhibition for my age group once for a picture I drew back in the 80's when I was at primary school.
1994 Scottish Junior Rally Champion Co-Driver Biggest money win was £5 e/w on Mon Mome in the National at 100-1. Also had another placing on £5 e/w and won over £700 ......Oh and £35 for getting 4 numbers on the Lottery. Only time in 21 an a half years I've had four numbers, and I believe it's still the record lowest pay out for 4 numbers
Incorrect. I had 4 numbers once and got £16. There were dozens of jackpot winners that week, I think because the numbers were all vaguely in a line down the slip and lazy twats like me just marked it quickly without mixing it up a bit.
Yeah when I was young I won a competition to win some Transformers. They sent me a load of Gobots, the piss poor knock off cousins. I complained and some months later I received a load of Transformers. I have won regularly on the horses. I used to lose regularly too until I realised I was **** at summer betting and jumps. I only really bet from Nov-Apr on the All Weather. Particularly Dec-Jan. I once won £11k off a Super Heinz. 7 horses across Lingfield and Wolverhampton. One horse came 2nd (it was each way). Never forget it, Berlusca. Cost me £26k.
I think I have twice won "WUM of the year" from this board consecutively now somehow I won £50 betting on Newcastle to lose recently...

Do you know what, I have lost all faith in the others figuring out my motivation in winding them up is for a laugh and a bit of give and take, like you know, opposition fans tend to, rather than an effort to psychologically break them and get them sectioned by beefy NHS workers with straight jackets. From a purely anthropological standpoint, you couldn't get a finer case study for rampant tribalism and primitive necessity for social validation. In the end all I do is state one pretty meaningless generic comment about your club that anyone could observe, and because of my name alone they will instantly make it personal, and then bitch when I do the same. Comm, you're the only one who actually understands the craic and doesn't have a paddy every five minutes. I'm not sure I'd have the patience to live in their mad max world, as amusing as it is to dip my toe in from time to time. But let's ramp it up for the derby, this one could be all or nothing for both clubs, so it should be special!
As soon as the trial started i did a thread stating 'expect visitors and dont let them get to you' seems nee ****er read it. Was always gonna happen, 100% i would have done the same. Derby build up should be fun. Just the mear sight of yours and a few other names will get the bloodhounds on the warpath. Lets have it. FTM.
I've won over a 100 on sunderland beating us twice! I've also won smaller bets equating to up to a couple hundreds. Right now I'm about 300+ up on the bookies, and if Leicester win the league I'll be another 45 quid up on skybet the fat ****ers!
