    Saturday 5th March 12.45pm
    White Hart Lane
    Premier League

Biggest North London Derby for years. It's as simple as that.
Both sides had poor midweek results with performances to match and will be out to prove a point.
A genuine shot at the title's at stake. Shouldn't need any more motivation than that.
A win for us puts us top and piles pressure on Leicester for their late game against Watford, too.

A Harry Kane double saw us come from behind to win 2-1 in this fixture last season.
Giroud's mishit shot fell luckily to Ozil and he put them ahead.
A scrambled corner leveled things up before a magnificent header won the game late on.

The game at the Emirates earlier in the campaign ended 1-1.
An excellent performance didn't bring all three points, as the hosts nicked a goal and stole a point.
Kane opened the scoring and it was the unlikely figure of Kieran Gibbs who got their one.
This was at the end of another run of 3 games in 7 days and it showed, unfortunately.

It looks like Dembele will be back and I expect some other changes, too.
Walker and Rose look certain to be restored to the side, as does Dele Alli.
Cech and Koscielny have been ruled out for the Goons.
They join Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere and Rosicky on the treatment tables.

Lineups for the last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Davies; Dier, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane.
Subs: Vorm, Walker, Rose, Carroll, Onomah, Alli, Son.
    League form: WWWWWL.

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal; Ramsey, Coquelin; Campbell, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud.
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Chamber, Flamini, Elneny, Welbeck, Walcott.
    League form: LDWWLL.

    Referee: Michael Oliver.

Some tired legs on Wednesday. Does anyone definitely need a rest?
Is there anyone not getting a game that needs to come in for this one?
Has anyone been poor enough to be left out completely?

Dier looked tired, as did Kane. I wonder if a centre midfield of Mason/Dembele would work. No out and out defensive player, but I think the Goons will sit back anyway. Alli, Lamela and Eriksen can drop back to help out as well. If the view is that Kane is too knackered, then Chadli or Son to play up front? Neither ideal. Dier and Kane should definitely play if they are ready.

Whatever that vid is, I can't see it?

equal worst match of the season for me...not quality wise but in terms of the nerves in the build up and during! The only time I can cope like a functioning adult during a NLD is when I am at the match...any other time (listening on the radio, watching at home, watching in a pub, being with mates, with my family, with strangers or on my own) I feel sick from the 1st minute to the final whistle.
God knows how I will cope tomorrow!

Interesting to see the line ups from the game at theirs there.

Notice Dembele was missing, yet we still ripped them a new one for an hour.

EDIT : PLEASE DONT READ THIS BRAINDEAD COMMENT. THANKS.

They're the lineups from the last league game that each team played, not the last match between the two teams.
Maybe I should rephrase how I've written it?

The lineups for the game at the Emirates were:
Spurs: Lloris; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Alli; Lamela, Dembele, Eriksen; Kane.
Arsenal: Cech; Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Campbell, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud.

No, I can see why you've read it that way. I'll change it for future threads, as it's a bit vague.

Combined 11 on MSN this afternoon...... bit unfair on any of our 4 FB's in my opinion, but I suppose some of them had to get in <laugh>
I'm with RCL on this one - a nervous jibbering wreck for the day and then either UP like Tigger on speed or DOWN like Eyeore on bennies! (no - not :afro:)
Really can't call this one and hate it that we are most peoples favourites. Think we can win despite hiccup Wednesday, but offer me a point and I would probably accept.

What's more likely, Arsenal losing three consecutively or Spurs losing two?

According to the Standard, the combined xi is: Cech; Bellerin, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Monreal; Dier, Dembele; Alli, Ozil, Sanchez; Kane - managed by Wenger.

For some strange reason 74% of voters disagree with that...

I can't believe none of the previews have mentioned that we need just one point to secure our Premier League status for next season.

If only I made a bet with my bookie saying Leicester would be safe from relegation long before Man Utd, Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Liverpool...
