Really like Charlie boys PIED DU ROI at 7/1 for the opener at Donny today.
Top weight but plenty more to come from this beast and facing a pretty modest bunch.

Starting to crack on with the individual threads for the Cheltenham races boys and girls - all hyperlinked from the mega-thread which is stickied at the top of the page. Please post all your thoughts on the relevant thread (I hope to have them all up by tomorrow).

I'm particularly looking forward to views on the Coral Cup - just 154 to pick from at this stage <laugh>

    Couple I fancy today,

3.25 New CLOUDY JOKER. McCain has had plenty of winners recently and this is his only runner down at Newbury today. Hope the fall lto has no effects on this one today 6/1.

2.30 Ling STRAWBERRY SORBET. About time this one got her nose in front. Should lead from a low draw and with Kirby onboard could go all the way today kicking for home on the last bend 11/4.

3.40 Ling CLEMENT. Rapidly improving and only finished 3rd last week after finding trouble twice in the last furlong before running on. Compensation awaits today off bottom weight and further enhanced by a 5lb claimer on top 4/1.

2.40 Donny OSCAR OSCAR. Won easily lto and stepping up a grade today. Should go well again and also has a handy 7lb claimer on board 2/1.

    Good luck

Eway bet on KAYFTON PETE 16/1 in the first and thrown him into a L15 with CLOUDY JOKER 11/2, SPECIAL AGENT 6/1 and QWILL ART 7/2.

Good luck all - not long to go now!!

I see she's 11/10 'each of two' to get back to winning ways. This time last year Miss Crick was supposedly the best thing since sliced bread after she 'beat the boys' in a Newbury bumper. Her form since though has been pretty woeful (the race in November apart when she did once again hint at usefulness). No real opinion on the race today which does, on form, look a match.

Her majesty has a runner at Newbury in the 4.00. It's trained by some bloke called Henderson, sounds a bit dodgy but don't hold it against the horse in question, special agent.
    Cheers.

I think I'll have a try with Kilronan Castle in the opener at Donny.

I backed ALNAHAR 8.30 Dundalk at 13/2 last night now 7/2 chance..should go well...i also had a small play EW on VENUS GRACE at 16s in the 2.00 Ling whos form puts her in with a better chance than those odds suggest.

I really like SAMS ADVENTURE odddy. Really impressive on debut. Sheehan was booked to ride it but he has been claimed by Greatrex for his. I put SIR ANTONY BROWNE up on debut at a decent price and think that one also will improve a lot for the first experience.

Had Skidby in the last and have it in a double with STRAWBERRY SORBET here at Lingers. From the front again.
