The media now seem to be saying we should have condemned him before he was guilty...When did this law change in our country?

Agree but Sunderland we're his employer and by unsuspending him failed him (he got awful crowd
abuse & more so the girl got even more abuse) so by vicarious responsibility I've an awful feeling we'll get hit hard here from the law - recall in 50's how the Bank Of England club got a huge fine - hope a similar example of us us not made -

 

What law would we have broken mate?

I can't see what's wrong with an employer continuing to employ someone who has been charged with, but not convicted of, a serious criminal offence.

Without proof or admission . And watch out for posters who start comments out with " From MY EXPERIENCE they USUALLY clarify ....,". Employment Law as we failed in our Duty of Care to an employee and in our responsibility to the community - I'm certain other clauses and other statutory responsibilities will be raised in the days to come - look I,m not too happy at all with this development but we have a history of being made an example of - all the negative press re *****s and sex abuse at the moment adds to groundswell of possible punishment
