I see the Mail is saying there is discord in the camp and senior players expect him to be sacked if we lose on saturday and cant believe he is still in charge. They are disillusioned!! For ONCE they are of the same mindset as the fans!! They have took to looking after their own recovery and training as well.. They need to look at themselves though. It is partly their fault we are in the poop. Looks like they wont be trying again on Saturday, as per usual..
Only a matter of time before this started to happen. The gutter journos aren't called vultures for nowt!
I hate the daily mail but you have to admit it's not looking great. The club should have been working to line someone up to take over from Steve weeks ago. Problem is they definitely won't have and we can't afford to spend several weeks looking for a replacement.
Weeks? I'm sure they have a Sports Direct countertop help whistle somewhere which Joe Kinnear can sense like a constipated meerkat from miles away.
Here we are again, back in the realms where any normal club with normal people in charge would accept this is just garbage and make a change. Chumley's just Nero incarnate, except I doubt he's smart enough to know how to play any instrument let alone a fiddle. One can only hope Mike Ashley has moved on from The Sport to the next step up (Mail).
Does anyone really think he will get the boot if we lose on Saturday? I don`t..! This season feels a lot worse than when we went down, and that season we had a few managers and was a total disaster from the start. This season it is all down to two men. Penfold and McClown.!!
Nah, it's just wishful thinking. Well, to a point - the further issue is if he went we all know 100% there's no contingency from Chumley. If he was sacked, it'd be in favour of someone worse. The abysmal way this club is run will be something I'll tell grandchildren about. It's chronicles will survive the nuclear apocalypse. Ashley has elevated himself to a Ken Bates/Doug Ellis level. Congratulations, Sir Mike, I salute you.
Think we have MCLaren for the duration to be honest. However if players are disillusioned then Ashley might be tempted to make a change. Have no respect for players that come out with this sort of crap though. Think McLaren is the sort of guy that if players came out and said Boss we would be better playing this way he would give it a go (and then blame then when we lost again).
Here is the latest pearl of wisdom on Saturdays` game, "On Saturday we need to go and grind out a result at home.” WTF. Yes thats right, we have to grind out a result at HOME to BOURNEMOUTH!!! Somebody just shoot the tufty-haired tossser, please?
I can't decide!!!! If I had the choice of a defeat and a restructure (Manager/Coaching staff) or a Win and we retain Scteve & Co I dont know what I prefer. I think Charnely is going, but it wont happen until the end of the season. If McClaren does go, im sure an interim manager will be put in place and Charnely may not have much of a say as to who! On one hand we still have to play the mackems, palace, Norwich, Swansea and Villa, I do really believe that wins against this lot would probably see us safe?? So I'm leaning towards a Bournemouth win McClaren sacking and a new appointment! Ive made a shortlist of potential canditiates Joe Kinnear Ian Dowie Nigel Worthington Pepe Mel Brian Mcdermot Micky Adams! Garath Southgate Ian Holloway Peter Taylor Paul Jewell Billy Davies John Barnes But who I'd most like to see get the job, Steve Kean Its an incredible list of obviously talented and capable individuals, so we should count ourselves lucky if we could manage to tempt any of them to manage us!
No offence to these players but they are twats on the pitch walking around, not able to pass to a team mate more than 5 yards away, not able to mark a player or hit the target. Bet they are the same ones who were ****e for Carver and Pardew etc
Grind out a result at home means playing 4-5-1, sitting behind the ball and counter attacking. That invariably means Gouffran will be starting again. I really hope the crowd turns on him tomorrow. I am praying that they do. I turned a long time ago, much like most people on here. Sadly, the happy clappers that make up the majority will no doubt happily forget everything if we 'grind out' that painful 1-0 win. A win will paper over the obvious cracks. We need to lose tomorrow to have any chance of getting rid of tufty.
Agree ..buuut ..we need the points. Need the points ..but totally agree (dont forget it will be us hounding him out too ..IF, by a miracle, he went) Schteve should have been gone at christmas ...or during the recent 18 day break ...or after his ..judge me after 12 games (ish) No doubt ...We will try and grind out a result, lose by a goal AND Schteve wont be sacked. (gotta love this management board and their executive capabailities)
