whats it look like lads, currently in Moscow so genuine question. Watched khazri going crazy when the equaliser went in against Liverpool I think or maybe man Utd win But worryingly borini scored a truly wonderful goal very late in game, now maybe they couldn't catch him but the players did not celebrate with him. Two players in box hardly raised there arms and borini managed to run from right hand side of box to other side of pitch to the half way line to celebrate with someone on the side lines. Am I reading to much into this because to me that's not a good sign
I did wonder what was with the Borini celebration. Completely ignored every player on the pitch and sprinted over to the bench. Not sure if it was a 'this is what I can do when given a chance' kind of celebration. Apart from that I think the lads seem to be quite close and the new lads have fitted in really well.
He is just frustrated that he hasn't had much game time lately. Got me thinking that he is desperate to play. Borini the mag slayer come on Fabio.
Looks good to me, and we have to remember the part that JoS has in this and give credit when its due, the new lads look to have blended in well and I noticed last night the JoS/YK and the Seb/FB exchanges which suggest attitude and commitment are not a problem.
Yeah, you watch his interview he says he's been frustrated being left out lately, 'for various reasons' Doesnt help we tried to sell him apparently in january either. Still a fan favourite though Fabio. Love that Italian bastard, should play more often for us.
Feel some are looking for problems that are NOT there - FB was clearly so ecstatic that he ran straight to bench to make a point (rightly) that he can help us - to me a sign of good team spirit all round - those on bench are also part of "Team Sunderland " - thats not meant to be as cheesy as it reads
Looked like a message to Sam if you ask me. You can see why. N'Doye on the wing? Repeatedly? It's like something from the Alan Pardew handbook.
Borini plays well on the wing and always gives 100%. Certainly have him playing v soton at the weekend.
It wasn't borini I was talking about none of his team mates celebrated with him, I thought last minute equalisers were ecstatic time, as for potentially looking for problems I was asking opinions, I offered one that I liked and one I found strange ??
He was off like a greyhound out of the traps man. None of them could catch the little bugger. I think he had a statement to make and, tbh, he couldn`t have made it much better.
100% this. As for his teammates not celebrating with him, well he legged it away from them when he scored. Gotta remember he had fresh legs whereas everyone else on the pitch was probably knackered.
He pelted across that and the lads were so leggy. No way they were going to chase him. He was on one.
I misread txt - from your above post clear - team spirit is fine - 12 more points will improve it tho -
