Good signing if he can reach past form. Just what we need really.

If it keeps Yedin and Billy ****ing Jones out of the team its a good thing. Pair of useless twats.

    Yedin = Forrest Gump..

Thought Yedlin did ok the other night. He was up for the fight and tried his best to get us going. 100% better than Billy Jones has been recently.

Eboue though is a free with a wealth of experience at a high level. On his day he can be very good but has a clanger every now and then. The Sunderland way...

Hard to be any worse. Stevie Wonder in a batman suit would be better than the pantomine horses we currently have.

Fair play at least Sam's trying to sort out the problem at RB and presumably Eboue was the best free agent available. Not like past managers who persist in playing terrible players every week and are completely blind to how bad they are. I won't mention Bridcutt.

For what it's worth I think Yedlin is doing ok but Jones isn't and I'm starting to wonder if the existence of Matthews is an elaborate ruse cooked up by the club. Eboue isn't a great player but he has experience and could well turn out to be a good signing, possibly in the same way that Reveilliere was. I have no idea how to spell that btw.

Pretty good effort eh, I know it's got a few e's and i's so I spread them about generously haha. He was a good player actually, he'd be the best RB at the club if he was still there.

Thought Yedlin did ok other night, his attacking runs etc were good. He is never going to be a world beater as a traditional RB, but as a wing back he is a good option.

3-5-2 would be the best formation to suit Yedlin and PVA imo.

Not sure when Eboue will be match fit ? he has played 1 90 minute game since the summer....

He hasn't played since 13/14 by the looks of it, he never got selected the whole of last season and has been a free agent this season.

Can't imagine he'll be starting anytime soon. Match fitness has to be a factor. Good back-up to have on the bench though.

Great signing. Personally I always thought that Eboue as better as a right-sided midfielder, but still a better right-back than we have on the books.

Put in at left back. PVA is a defensive liability and we have got to keep clean sheets. He doesn't need to get over the half way line,,,just keep the ball out of our net.

C - bit harsh there - Yedlin is quite good & getting better - Eboue's form is a big doubt

Yedlin is ****e and not getting better.

Just because someone tries their pods of doesn't mean they're any good.

Stick me on the pitch, I'd give 100%, but I'd not be up to the job.

My views only - DY was not a premiership regular - virtually untried when we got him on loan - of course I'd rather have a current & proven full back (Danny Rose? ) - but criticism will not help an improving DY - imo As you seem to have played you will know importance of positive encouragement and support - but criticise him if you want if you think it helps - <cheers>
