If being a moaning ****er helped, we'd be running away with this division by now. Everyone on here is pissed off about the result- what is the point of rubbishing players and the manager? Surely now is the time to show your support not criticise?
They didn't threaten in the second half but the first half was tactically bad by Bruce, Birmingham got space to move forward.
I`m afraid Clucas has got into positions a number of time during the past few games and froze when it matters, no point getting there if ya can`t finish it off, his all round performance was dire tonight. Powell actually went at their defence, instead of passing square or backwards as Thudd did for the majority of the game, Diame I whole heartedly agree for a big bloke he gets knocked off it far too easy.
With respect City Man, I support with pound notes home and away.. as such anyone who does that deserves to express their opinion.
Im normally a bit critical ( frustration ) but we played bloody well tonight. We are having a rough time and its just not happening. I think Clucas needs a bit of time on the bench and give Maloney a go or Elmo with Snodders interchanging. If we carry on playing like that we'll give 2 or 3 teams a thrashing. ****ing Burnley if only we had their luck we,d be 10 pounts clear.
I'm surprised you got signal all the way through the game, I find it's really hit and miss posting at games.
Can't understand why Akpom was not on the bench tonight, he can't play against Arsenal, Diomande can play in the cup game does'nt seem to make sense. Also maybe not for the purists but with the conditions getting really bad why not take a chance and stick Maguire on for the last 5 to 10 minutes for Hernandez he would have at least caused a bit of mayhem in their box.
The performance was nothing to worry about we did them good but ****ed up our chances. Aside from the implications this result might have with the league table the only worry is why Bruce saw fit to leave on Snodgers and Clucas who were both ****ing atrocious whilst he pulled Dave and Tom off who were two of the best players on the pitch. He needs his head looking at. Was the ref as bad as he looked from the stands? Aside from the penalty which was obvious even from the back of the stand it looked like he was constantly giving them ridiculously soft free kicks yet giving us nothing when they looked like clear fouls, and generally just getting everything wrong. Donaldson looked about 10 yards offside for that overhead kick too.
The fact remains if you don't get in position to score you won't score and he does more than most others, maybe Snodgrass is up there with him. Powell could start though we probably created more when he was off the pitch. It's still early days with him.
Diame was awful Hernandez awful clucas awful. Robbo poor snods poor. In fact most were poor apart from Livermore. The players missing the chances ie diame Hernandez and clucas mainly made others look worse. Yes Robbo made a mistake but would have made up for it if we scored from his pull back. Also think that Davis was suspect for the goal and a few other moments.
Pizz take and obvious wind up's apart,it's now becoming more and more obvious that opposing managers realise that by playing us at our own defensive game and close our wide men down,we usually fall short. Not unduly worried with the games we have left to play, but I do feel we need start taking our chances or run the risk of the play off circus.
Its only people blowing off steam due to frustration. Dont take everything has a personal insult. Everyone wants us to win this league but it just constantly feels like its at our fingertips and we just cant grasp it. But thats the story of our history
