I nominate myself to take all the 10 grands and distribute it accordingly. I'll PM Sid to tell him my offshore account details.

Come to think of it Sid did seem a little 'Nigerian' to me at times.

He once PM'd me asking if I'd look after $30bn for him.

Shouldn't spite the kids and that aye, just make sure they get it in vouchers or actual goods so we know we're not funding a smear campaign.

It's taking the piss is what it is. If he's ill that's fair enough but there's no comunication at all now. Sitting on Charity money is dodgy is ****, If he earns a penny interest he's breaking the law, it needs sorting and needs sorting now. Christmas collection? they'll be lucky to get it next Christmas. It's not like Gordon hasn't offered to assist Sid. It's bordering on crossing the line imo.

I know what you`re saying Bri & I agree the silence is strange. We`ve made our contributions and we`re entitled to know what`s happened to them.

If the bloke`s ill that`s fair enough but it`s understandable folks will get restless.

I`m inclined to wait a while longer and trust @Gordon Armstrong to come up with some info. He seems to know the lad better than any of us. Is that right Gordon or am I off track here?

I believe Smug knows Sid from meeting him, not sure if they're in touch regularly though. Not sure Gordon and Sid are that well acquainted off the board though.

Gordon doesn't know Sid, at all. He's simply took on the responsibility of trying to sort the money situation out, so the charity can be paid.

I hope Sid is alright, I really do. Away from that, he can't keep getting messaged about this and replying that he's onto it and it's getting sorted out, but then nothing happens. I'm sorry if you are reading this Sid, but you really should have sorted this now, you have had ample opportunity and all it would take is a 2 minute phone call to the bank to transfer the money to Gordon, who has already given you his sort code and account number. A few messages of getting it sorted but no action?

So yeah, looking at everything there's reasons to be suspicious.

It's my turn to go on holiday, lads :emoticon-0103-cool:
I've now got the money, so I'll see you later <cheers>

I'm waiting to edit this, to give someone a chance to take this seriously <whistle>

Right . . . . I've asked for a presentation cheque from my bank, so that we can present it to these people. I need confirmation that it's for the Wearside Women in Need thingy . . . . is that right

    edit : That didn't work, then, did it . . . . neebody took the bait :emoticon-0101-sadsm

another edit : I want a volunteer or two to help with the presentation, for when we get some publicity via the Sunderland Echo :emoticon-0105-wink: . . . . unless you think that that's a daft idea :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Top work Gordon, look forward to seeing the donation receipt.

This has taken far too long.
