If I had to pick a player it would be Toby...the guy showed some urgency. Kane should have buried the rebound off Toby's 25 yard drive.

For the avoidance of doubt, Kane was not given off side for the missed tap in. It would have counted.

TOTTENHAM’S packed fixture schedule as they fight for the title is set to be given a boost with the news that Mousa Dembele is back in training. He could even be ready to return for Saturday’s vital league clash against rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

The midfielder, who’s been a revelation this term, has been suffering from a groin strain but coaches say he is in the running for a start in the north London derby. Defender Jan Vertonghen, out since January, is also due to return in the coming fortnight.

    Come on You Spurs!!

I'm gonna call it now. If Dembele and Alli play in the derby, we win. If not, who knows.

Agreed. I don't want Mousa anywhere near the Europa League games. He is so important to our PL hopes that we should keep him just for those games.

The problem with groin strains is that they are exceptionally easy to aggravate and make worse if a player is rushed back prematurely. We absolutely shouldn't play Mousa in the NLD unless he is 100% ready. And to be honest, I don't think we need him. This Arsenal team is as a far removed from West Ham in terms of brute strength as you can get. I'd be happy to see Carroll start tbh. Although having said that, Dier looks finished.

Last night reminded me of our performance against Newcastle. It looked tired, uninspired and out of ideas.

As Spurlock says, just hope we respond like last time.

    M. Pochettino won't pick an injured player. Even if he can only give a half, I'd rather have him start and take the game to them from the start than have him on the bench in case we go behind which is becoming something of a habit recently. We need to be at them like we went at Palace in the cup game in the first half. That was very impressive (apart from the lack of a goal). So,swap the full backs and Son for Chadli, Alli for Eriksen and Dembele for Mason. Sod the Germans. We need some league wins in our next few games.

We didn't win the league on Sunday when we beat Swansea, and we didn't lose the league when we lost last night.

We haven't chatted since you beat Citeh to win the cup. You've been very quiet since you beat them 3-0. Very unmouser-like.

Which set of fans are so monumentally dense to proclaim victory when the season hasn't finished yet?

    Oh yeah, them...

Well, that's the bad one out of the way.Now let's go! COYS!

One must give the Hammers a little charity now and then.We did that a couple of seasons ago to cheer 'em up prior to their Arsenal like removal to Hackney Wick!
