From european dream to Greek style bail out. I have no sense of humour at all over the Bullard situation. It amazes me though how those that loved him the most and couldn't say enough good things about him at the start are the ones that are crying and bitching now.
I sent a postcard to the club on the day he was paraded around the kc stadium on it i wrote in red marker pen REDRUM DRALLUB OR ER'EW DEMOOD
If you're aware of all of the strories about Jimmy, you must have had a grin on your face at some point. Looking at the bigger picture though, as you say, it's no laughing matter.. The overwhelming majority of fans greeted him like the messiah when he arrived. Hindsight is a wonderful thing - obviously knowing what we know now, we shouldn't have even contemplated his signature
I must admit, I saw it as a very possibly ace move by Brown/Duffen. Although, obviously, Jimmy B was not going to rescue City, single-handedly, he could have done one **** of a lot more than he did for us. Those who say "You can't blame him for accepting such a good deal", I agree with. It's obvious and unspoken. But his cynicism, his twattishness, his (rumoured?) laziness, his greed and his attitude to the Club and its fans/supporters - You can't forgive him that. Can you?
He has every right to stand by the terms and conditions of his contract. This is true. He knows full well he is not welcome or wanted here and is looking for a way out. If he chooses to stay, that is his choice, he has been strongly advised against this. This is probably not the best place to discuss forgiveness or mercy, you may have guessed. I'm not a vicar.
