This ticket selling approach is just so logical - just like it the old days in the late 60's early 70's when my Dad & I attended matches:-

Pay on the turnstiles for Owls v QPR
    shop.sheffieldwednesday.co.uk.
    Ticket Collection Details:
Supporters who book online or by telephone and selected standard tickets can collect from the Ticket Office until 6.30pm.
After this time, all South Stand and Grandstand tickets will be available to collect from Gate 6 and Kop and North Stand tickets from Gate 18.

The Owls are back in action under the S6 lights this evening against Queens Park Rangers.
Tickets for both Sheffield Wednesday and QPR fans will be available to purchase on the turnstiles from 6.30pm.
    Prices are as follows:

    Kop Members Non Members
    Adult £25 £30
    Senior £15 £20
    Student/Armed Forces/Young Adult £20 £30
    Junior U17 £10 £15
    Junior U11 £7 £12

    North/Grandstand Members Non Members
    Adult £28 £33
    Senior £18 £23
    Student/Armed Forces/Young Adult £23 £33
    Junior U17 £10 £15
    Junior U11 £7 £12

    South Members Non Members
    Adult £31 £36
    Senior £21 £26
    Student/Armed Forces/Young Adult £26 £36
    Junior U17 £10 £15
    Junior U11 £7 £12

Members are reminded in order to receive their £5 discount tickets must be purchased in advance from the Ticket Office or online at shop.sheffieldwednesday.co.uk.

I meant to say that the train is easy, its just a trek when you get to MK

Not quite the same as the easy stroll from the station at Bolton!

Only an initial allocation. I'll probably get mine on the day unless they make it all ticket.

The offy says all 3.100 upper tier tickets sold out. Another 1,200 lower tier tickets secured but there is huge demand and they strongly advise supporters to purchase their tickets in advance. Looks like we will have at least 4,300 supporters there.

Any locals advise how long it will take for a taxi to get from the ground to the MK railway station after the game allowing for traffic? Have to make a 17.19 hours train. Thanks.

There is room for us to have 10000 if we needed it. The slow release of tickets is a good way to get £3.50 off people.

Traffic a big problem at the end of matches at the MK Stadium. - would make sure you leave before the match finishes to be sure of making that train.

Assuming the game finishes at 16:55, that seems a big ask

Deplorable as the MK Dons story is, it's a very accessible, pleasant day out. Would be even more pleasant to sneak a win.

accessible maybe, pleasant? The ground is I suppose. Well with nothing to play for and a big support to get behind the team I'm hoping we will do a bit more than sneak a win.

Pleasant in the sense you aren't going to make a wrong turn and get attacked by northerners/police- probably the most family-friendly away match possible. Plus you can ponder who they all used to support.
