Nope <ok> Roof was right all along, banging on about Curt should have been left in charge until the end of the season. It seems like Guids is getting in his way now!

What an absolutely massive life saving three points that was. Not only the points but the confidence gained going into these next three huge games. I'll hold my hand up and say I thought it was all over when they scored... but they didn't have the intensity and will that Spurs showed against us and second half you could see us growing into the game - fantastic. Imagine how much more threatening we would have been with Paloschi instead of Gomis as well.

Indeed <ok> I hope we carry this on now. Perfect timing.

Ash has to be player of the season for us. And up there in the league as a whole too.

I think Guido will be a super manager , a much needed super manager if we stay up when we need to rebuild.
I'm hoping Guido keeps Curtis near his ear for the rest of the season and cuts the lifeline after game 38 .
I only have to look at Paloschi to be excited who Guido brings in in the summer .
Anybody got any thoughts on Fer , Kingsley and Amat's effort toward the game ?

I hope you're right and that it's just the perilous situation we're currently in and the short time he's had with the players so far that's keeping him overly cautious. I'm not so sure though.

I thought Fer looked useful, give him the ball on the edge of the box and let him fire off some rockets, a great option to have. He looked rugged in the tackle and strong on the ball. Amat looked a little rusty, understandably, but we know he's quality, a starter for the future. I've always liked Kingsley and personally I'd start him in more games and hopefully he can take over from Taylor next season.

Agree re Guido roof. He's continued to steady the ship and I think he'll continue to do so, no matter how boring that may be. Right now results are all and I think he'll get them for us. Come summer though, who knows.

Fer: Did well but I got the feeling there's more to come from him. He played a decent game, a little understated maybe, but still played like he wanted to impress, I think he might want to stay with us and if he continues to improve I'd have him.

Amat: Did exceptionally well, slotted in and knew what he was doing. He still scares the life out of me though. He put himself about a bit again yesterday and got away with a few. I think there's a lot lot more to come from him too and we'll see it as he matures. He's ahead of Bartley in the pecking order now, imo but does anyone know what has happened to Bartley? I thought for sure he'd start against his old club last night.

Kingsley: Saved the best for last. I was very impressed with him. A couple of stray passes here and there due to lack of game time but he in defense he was comfortable and so was I. He was solid, assured with the ball and being quicker than Taylor managed to get further up the pitch than him and he has a better cross.
Feel sorry for Taylor, he's tried his best all season but on one showing, Kingsley has shown he's got more to offer, especially in attack.
Kingsley would be my first choice left back for the rest of the season.

    Other pluses

Ayew: Managed to get a game out of him at last, best of the season so far. Still not the team player we'd like him to be though.

Fulton got stuck in but looked nervous, overall contribution was a plus and I'm sure in time he'll be very decent.

Routledge: superb again. He's stepped up a gear or two lately and looks quality.

By the way, does anyone know what a Christmas tree formation is? or is it a poncy way to describe 4-3-3

    My team for Norwich

    Fabs
    Naughton Fernandes Williams Kinglsey
    Cork Britton
    Ayew Siggy Routledge
    Paloschi

From what I've heard through the grapevine in general . , Amat did pretty good and it really makes me wonder what Monk was actually trying to do not playing him his last 3 games in charge .
I'm starting to think maybe Garry took to many things personally ...at the expense of the club .
Really feeling good about the things I 've heard from you guys about Fer and Kingsley ....things are going to steady , I feel it in my bones . Been a long time since I felt the way I did after the game yesterday ...after a game .
43 points at least imo .

As you know Roof, I always stand behind any manager until it becomes unsustainable, and that happened for me at the start of this season, when he told club legend Leon Britton that he would be surplus to requirements, with him out of our pre-season tour, add to that the Dyer saga and I wondered what the hell was going on with Monk's thinking, he basically got too big for his own boots, but if he is the stirrer some say he is, then we should get a stable ship now that he is gone.........<ok>
