Are we even surprised? If he comes from a wealth family and is educated at Eton he will have more connections than that James Burke (one for the more mature member to appreciate) so it isn't the greatest shock to find out he only gets a slap on the wrist. The pervert will be knocking one out to kiddie filth as soon as he gets home.

That twat Adam Johnson is going down for being a dumb f*cknuckle. If a teenie turns up at your door and says "thanks for the signed shirt, I am so grateful you can have a go at this" hitches her skirt up to show off the tang, the first thought shouldn't be "oh, cheers love. I know she wasn't exactly fighting him off with a stick and it appears to be sex with a minor instead of statutory rape but Johnson should have had the nouse to keep it in his pants as she was under age.

My prediction is thus - watch out for Johnson's girlfriend. I would lay a pound to a penny that she will soon be doing the rounds of breakfast TV, Loose Women etc giving her side of the story and to distance herself as far as possible from Johnson. He was her WAG meal ticket and by the looks of her the thought of retiring to the background and settling for a job in Greggs is not on the cards. I expect to see her on Celebrity Big Brother or the Jungle thing unless she can snare another dumb as a stump footballer.

Feel free to post pictures of her and I'd like to give a pre-emptive Ah Wid. The teenie must be over 16 by now so she could get the benefit too. See? 15 = Peed, 16 = Proceed, a simple equasion that Mr Johnson should have stuck to.

I've not been following the Johnson case, and there's something I don't understand.

The bits that I have picked up in the story are that :

1. She was a big fan of his.
2. She contacted him on facebook.
3. They exchanged dozens of messages in there and other social media.
4. They met in his car.
5. At that point, the girl was clearly besotted with the man, and infatuated with him (as per sound recording played on the news last night)
6. They engaged in an act of "sexual touching"
7. They followed the encounter the next day with flirty messages.
8. The girl tells the court that the incident drove her to near suicide and was the worse thing ever to happen in her life.


What did I miss between 7 and 8 ?

Could be that. It was just that when I heard the statement from the girl who got the signed shirt, asking the subject of her infatuation (who now faces ten years in prison and losing his daughter permenantly), if he is aware of the, "hurt and damge" he has caused, I wondered whether there might have been some kind of blackmail involved or something.

 

From what I have read she blubbed it all to her Dad before Johnson managed to go balls deep, that is what happened between incidents number 7 & 8. He is minted and I guarantee there will be some sort of compo deal on the cards to cover the emotional trauma. Unless she changes her name and moves away she will always be known as that divvy slag who noshed off the pervy footballer.

Of course it is the worst thing that has ever happened to her, at that age I doubt she's had to spend a year in a Turkish prison. Worst thing that has happended to her before the BJ in the Rangey would have been having to listen to an entire Coldplay album.
