I watched it last week - it's excellent ......... you REALLY should watch the first one before this latest offering!
"Sword of destiny", brilliant, loved it, my kind of film, Will be watching crouching tiger, hidden dragon soon.
Just goes to show how different people see things differently. After it's mention yesterday I downloaded and watched it too, well about half of it anyway, I thought it far more Disney than gothic and McAvoy very irritating in his failed "Withnail" impersonation. And that wizard boy just can't act either. If it was meant as a kid's or teen film fair enough but otherwise I am left baffled why so much money and supposed talent is wasted Watchable but apart from whiling away some time hardly worth the bother.
Day 63, film 63, "predestination" with ethane hawke, Time traveller type movie, Mr hawke can be brilliant In some films and bad in others... Great title though..
That's what I love about movies, I don't think there's ever been a movie Where everyone liked it, it's an individual thing, the marmite syndrome ..
Loved that film. More twists than a helter skelter and was an enjoyable story too. Agree about Ethan Hawke too, but in this, he's great.
Thanks happy, looking forward to it, love those films with twists in them, keeps you on your toes and makes you think about the movie and not just be a pedestrian ....
There's never been one where nobody likes it too, even the worst films get some kind of cult following! Was watching Airheads the other day, even that has fans and it has to be one of the worst films I've seen for a long time
Watched Bridge Of Spies and Creed on an overnight flight last night, the former is very good and well worth a watch, the latter is the same as every other Rocky film.
I love the Rocky films despite their obvious failings. Watched the latest Mad Max recently. It's mental.
"Predestination" Bloody spot on happy, absolute twister nation, really enjoyed it, and Yes Ethan in this was brilliant... Talk about making you think !!!!
im calling BULLSHIT on Quills reviews , journalistic credibility and or claim to have read Dostoevsky . . ill wait for him to explain why i know
Didn't get a filmed watched at all last night, so had a think about my fave movies of 2015. In no order: The Revenant Spotlight Star Wars: The Force Awakens Mad Max: Fury Road Ex Machina Sicario The Hateful Eight The Big Short Anomalisa Son of Saul
you seem to have copy n pasted one of your movie reviews from the t'internet , its the only one that read back as if it was written by some Guardian Arts reviewer , so i googled the opening paragraph n found it :/
I see you found my review of The Idiot on Flixster. I will agree, reading back, it does come across quite pretentious.
i thought it was the only explanation ,although it doesnt read like any of the other reviews you done - i stand corrected
Like I said, it is a bit pretentious. I probably tried to hard to sound like an arsehole (not that hard to do, I will admit).
Day 64, film 64, I'm gonna watch "unbreakable", I love this film, for me the best bruce Willis film.. Oh and 64 is one of my favourite finishes on a Doubles board.... 2 double 16s, have finished A fare few games that way, played against One of the best players in Beverley recently, First leg I finished on 90, 20, double 19, double 16, Really pissed him off in the second leg, I finished it on 2 double 16s, ****er said I Was showboating ... ****ing Bad loser !!!!
