QPR make Saints an offer for Puncheon (Player Exchange)

I've always liked Gorkss, that would be a great deal for us.

 

been reading up on him, he's 6 foot 3 and described as:

"A bread and butter player"
"Not scared to get stuck in"

Seems a decent deal

 

Good news if true a heavy wieght for a light wieght if you exclude Puncheons head that is.This guy played 42 times for Rangers last season so he would be an obvious asset.

 

I haven't heard too much about him before now but he seems like a good player and swapping a quality player in a position we need for someone who is dead wood is a win win.

I'm almost scared to believe it, but I really hope it is true. Don't want to be disappointed like with the 'Riise' deal haha.

 

If true this is a damn fine deal for the us and the don should hurry up and get it done, a very good centre half at this level for a wannabee lets get it done.

 

I think it's definately true (even Solent are reporting it now). But whether or not the transfer actually happens is another matter. Will Gorkss be happy to drop down to us?

 

On Yahoo it says he was offered as part of the deal. If true, they obviously identified one area they know we need strengthened and put some weight behind a deal we would find attractive.

Most of the QPR fans seem to think this is B/S and they agree that Gorkss is their best defender....it seems that the source of the rumour is the Daily Fail, so I can understand why they are so sceptical....

I have faith that it is true based on Radio Solent tweeting the following:

"Solentsport can confirm qpr in for #saintsfc player Jason Puncheon.Offer includes Kaspar Gorkss coming to st mary's."

I don't think they'd write that if it wasn't true.

 

I would love it to be true Brendy, getting rid of a big headed talent waster for one of last season's best defenders in the Championship would be a master stroke by NA and NC in my opinion.

 

I guess it shows, in a nutshell, the difference between our owners and QPR's.

 

are you telling me NA and NC couldnt pull this off?? of course they could.
NC could jump into a rabbit hole and negotiate its lucky foot off for half a tube of smarties.

 

I'd take the QPR cat for Punch let alone a 6'3" experienced centre half with real bit - SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
