Someone has to ask the question. Personally I think it would be great for English football, maybe even global football, if a completely unfancied side that cost 7% of Van Gaals transfer Kitty, won the most prestigious league in the world. we've got to play them in April, could even help us get CL football at our new Council house in Newham, but I'm not sure if I want us to win or lose.
Well, technically it's a no from me atm the minute because Liverpool are only sixteen points behind with thirty-three points to play for so it's still mathematically possible. However, should the likely event of Liverpool not winning the league happen, I've ticked yes
Obviously, like any fan, I want my team to win it. But if we don't, then yeah it would be good if Leicester won it.
I really want us to be the first 'unfancied' team to win it in the future so I'd rather Leicester didn't win it this season. Nothing against them though and I love what they are doing. Big Ern that is a weird comment mate. You're not sure if you want us to win or lose when we still have a decent shot at the top 4? My order of preference for champions this season would be: West Ham United Man City Arsenal Leicester Man Utd The rest of the premier league . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . spurs.
What kind of crappy fan would want to risk missing out on CL football because he wants to have a laugh at Spurs...that is what you insinuated last night when you said you want West Ham to allow Leicester to beat you so that Spurs don't win it. I did advice you to have a word with yourself about your priorities Ern. Now your hiding that behind the ' for the good of football' bollocks. Wouldn't it be good for English football to have a team comprising of young English players win the PL? Of course it would, to give you one example. So to answer the OP, no, i don't want Leicester to win it. Apologies if that makes me look like a nasty meany person...meh!
I've been wanting one of the small teams to win it for years, as I've stated many times over the years on boards of teams who have threatened the big boys. as for the Spuds in every town I lived during my 20 years travelling the expat gobshite was always a spud, I can't imagine how bad you lot would be if you actually had something to go on about, rather than an era my gran can just about remember. You're the gobshites of English football and a bunch of bitter hypocrites to boot. I still await the online petition into misappropriation of government funds for the 40million given to an off-shore company because their favourite local crack dealer got shot. where is it?
your a **** fan. Wishing demise on your own team just so that you can giggle at Spurs. We always threaten the big boys, we constantly been finishing 5th. So which one is it? You backing us or are we a big club? Or am I just right in thinking your joy as a West Ham fan comes from seeing us do badly, even at the expense of your own team doing well...in which case refer to my first remark.
"I'm not sure if I want us to win or lose" ie I'm torn between Football and West Ham. I'm not surprise you think it's simply because it's Trotterham when it has absolutely nothing to do with you at all, years of dealing with your lot means I have come to expect delusion. are you a big club, sorry to piss on your delusion, but the media say no. You're not a provincial town club up from league 1 either.
... joking apart, you seemed to be a distinct second best last night from the highlights on MOTD ... were you? ... highlights don't always present a true reflection ... but if they did, are you now worried about the Saturday showdown or do you expect a 'positive reaction' ?? ... for our own part, we probably played as well as we have all season against West Brom (in contrast to Norwich on Saturday) but couldn't quite get the wi ... I'd be optimistic towards playing anybody after that, but have to say that Watford were most unlucky at United and must be wondering how on earth they didn't win, never mind ending up losing ... think we are in for a real tough teast ...
We got outplayed mate. Didn't deserve nothing from that game. Despite what everyone is saying about who will win it. 30 points is alot to play for so i have not lost hope. I think we will be a different beast on Saturday, we have reacted very well to defeats this season by going on some very decent runs...it will be a positive reaction. If not, then ill be worried that things are changing for the worse. Despite what any fan may admit, i think the pressure is coming into play....and the premier league is not easy..alot of teams have alot still to play for, not just those at the top. 10 game run in now....its about whos got the heads screwed on now. hope it's not you kants.
it would be a victory for hard work in football . and defeat the ethic of who s got the most money wins .
I think every neutral wants Leicester to do it. It'll smash to pieces the idea that you can't succeed without a truck load of dosh in this league and stick it to the CL stalwarts - as at least one of them (probably 2) are going to miss out next season, and that's great imo. Come on Leicester!!!
Absolutely. Our game last night against the Spanners aside, we've worked extremely hard this season, as a team, just as Leicester has.
that's my point, it would quite possibly be the biggest shock in world sport, and in the most positive way possible, a locally supported non-global 'brand with harmonious, hard-working team with little ego managed by a 'Gentleman'. Kane looked totally ****ed, gotta be a worry, when he last looked ****ed you had relegation form.
honestly m8 .if leicester can win this its got to be the biggest underdog story of all time ..the only other one i can think of was greece wining the euros a while ago
