Thats cos you aint been a spurs fan since 1974... I won't bore you **** less with my Spurs horror stories but how many teams are 3 nil up at ht and play against 10 men for the WHOLE 2nd half and still lose? That my friend kills any kind of complacency. .. FOREVER!
Only positive I can see.....usually form does not matter in a derby! And since Spurs are in better form than Arsenal I will believe in it.
Your team and manager are completely different, though. You seem to have more resolve. Normally at this stage of the season, you would collapse and you haven't. You've picked up results from losing positions (today aside) and you have a balanced team. We genuinely look the exact opposite. Feeble, soft, gutless, heartless, dull. There's nothing to be upbeat about whatsoever.
Haig said I should come over to see what a real meltdown looks like. I only saw the MOTD highlights but you hit the woodwork a few times and were slightly unlucky for their 2nd, but the wenger dilemma goes deep.
Yep...and thats why we will lose the NLD on Saturday...Newcastle and Palace...bad run, check...finding it hard to score, check...playing rubbish, check...can't keep a clean sheet, check...can't see where your next win is coming from, check...going to white hart lane, check mate! Easiest 3 points you'll get this season...then we have the humiliation of screwing up top 4 again!
My favourite is the happy clappy geezer who wears arsenal track suit, arsenal ear phones, arsenal hat, arsenal gloves arsenal scarf and constantly drinks from his arsenal bottle like he is about to dry out ... complete fruit loop of a man
Comment by Arsenal fan When I die I want Arsene Wenger to lower my coffin into the ground so he can let me down one last time.
How did that happen. Players trying too hard. The shots that hit the woodwork had a little too much on them, a more relaxed approach and you'd have won that quite easily. Were your players cautious because of recent form and because we've done better against Arsenal than any other top 6 team? The worrying thing is we had 6 changes from a team that offered virtually nothing against Spurs. Anyway. Good luck on Saturday against the thugs.
Hardly a meltdown on here. We are used to this now.. our form has been relegation standard since Xmas. Won just 3 games in 3 months.
At the end of the day we're talking about a manager who's won 3 PL titles, 6 FA Cups and the Community shield 6 times. A manger who transformed Arsenal and dragged them into the modern football era, this should be remembered.
How long would Utd have stuck with Fergus if he'd suddenly stopped challenging for major trophies? I'm guessing it wouldn't be 12 years
