1) deserved nothing tonight...glad there were no injuries or red cards tbh 2) apart from united winning we got away lightly 3) we have responded well in the league after a defeat... Lost to united then 14 unbeaten, Lost to Newcastle in November then unbeaten til January Lost to Leicester then won 6 in a row Lose to West Ham ... need to respond again! 4) this glass half full stuff is rubbish...
Hate to say it but we completely bottled it in the 1st half and couldn't break them down in the second, I felt this would be 1 game to far but I thought we would get a point, the saving grace is the Arsenal & Man city results. I thought Davies had a particularly poor game tonight, I don't know why he dithered to give the corner away that led to the goal, he looked nervous to me and it seemed we were crying out for Danny Rose down the left, hopefully he will be in the starting line up along with Dembele and Alli on Saturday
I don't know what was worse tonight: that performance or having to listen to Tony ****ing Gayle waffling on like the twat that he is. He's a ****, biased ****er at the best of times, but that was dire.
I though that the goal was completely down to Chadli. Missed the pass to Davies by a mile, then failed to mark his man properly on the resulting corner. Don't think that anyone had a particularly good game for us tonight, though. Totally off the pace.
admittedly I only watched the 1st 15mins of your 2nd half but you looked tired compared to spam, don't be too butt hurt it's been a great year for you regardless
Not taking points is annoying, but this was hardly the 0-3 during AVBs' last days, was it. Time will tell whether those Pochettino was attempting to save for the NLD will deliver.
We have to play ... Arsenal (3rd) home United (5th) away Southampton (7th) home Liverpool (8th) away Stoke (9th) away Chelsea (10th) away Beginning to worry about coming in top 4 tbh! Ahhh...being a miserable glass half empty git fits me like a glove
It could have been worse. Every stream I used tonight was awful. The only one that was half decent had an idiot of a former spam player who made Alan Smith seem like a Spurs supporter. We were bad, the pitch was awful and the officials incompetent but we are still second and we will be much better on Saturday
Ugh. Deserved to lose, improved a little in the second half but 1-0 flattered us. Worst performance of the season. Not sure I blame any one individual it was just really poor all around. On the plus side we get a second chance to go top in the NLD, even if it's only for a few hours. We'll be on a nice flat pitch and may potentially have Dembele and Alli back in the starting 11. We can still do this, it's just going to be very, very hard with away trips to Stoke, Chelsea and Liverpool and a home match against United, plus the NLD, obviously.
I see the CEO's of 'the premierships Big Five" met up recently, my sources tell me everyone laughed when Levy's name was mentioned.
If Spurs played like they did tonight, we will lose all of those games. But I think Spurs will bounce back strongly after tonight's dismal performance.
"I see the CEO's of 'the premierships Big Five" met up recently, my sources tell me" how Levy laughed when asked to attend the meeting of which at least two of said clubs won't be in the CL next year.
