The terror of Norway . RIP.

NEWCASTLE boss Alan Pardew today paid tribute to a young Toon fan gunned down during the Norwegian massacre.

Tore Eikeland, who contributed to the Norwegian branch of Newcastle United’s fans’ group’s website, was missing for more than 24 hours following Anders Behring Breivik’s killing spree.

Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg confirmed the 21-year-old was among 86 people killed at the youth camp on Utoya island during Friday’s killings.

Pardew paid a heartfelt tribute to the budding politician who was president of the Hordaland branch of the AUF, the ruling Labour Party’s youth wing.

He said: “On behalf of everyone at Newcastle United, we were horrified to hear of the tragedy in Norway and the senseless loss of innocent life.

“Our thoughts go out to the families and friends of all the victims, especially to those of Tore Eikeland who we know was a huge supporter of Newcastle United and a keen contributor to a Norwegian NUFC fans website.

“The players, coaching staff and everyone associated with the club send our heartfelt condolences to the Eikeland family and all those who lost a loved one that day.

Good idea posting it commo, with the derby coming up its easy to forget that some things are far more important than a footy match.

Went to bed on Friday and 7 people reported dead, got up on Saturday first thing and the death toll was 90 - I had to sit down - just so shocked at this terrible event.

My heart goes out to those affected.

I find the whole episode one of the single most tragic events in my life. The fact he simply mowed down so many young innocent people without a care in the world, or it would seem an ounce of regret and in such a methodical and calculated fashion is just simply mind boggling. The fact he also seems to have been preparing and planning this for nearly 10 years is even more shocking.

Our thoughts as human beings goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy.

Just a shame that Troll Ninja F8cking tool wasn't in the vacinity at the time - same goes for a few other CRAAS that are obsessed with this board.

Otherwise RIP to the lad and my sincere condolancies to all those impacted by the weekends events.

master-simpson that is a terrible thing to say. Certain people like Ninja may get on our nerves but I wouldn't want anyone's life ended in such a heartless way. My thoughts and sympathy is with the family and friends of the Norwegian mag fan and all the families affected by this tragedy. It was such a waste of many young lives and lets not forget the people who lost their lives in the Oslo bombing.

    RIP to all who died.

    Condolences to all their families.

The **** that did it should be brayed about with a baseball bat with 6" nails protruding from it & then be shot through the back of the knees with a .45, UVF style.
