Just listened to Lee Atkins. Interesting to hear that we will get UWE regardless of the Sainsburys court decison but if we win the court case, we would be due 'damages' which will be put towards funding UWE. Damages??? Thought we would get the full £30 million! He went on to say that the club is already making alternative arrangements to move to UWE regardless of the court decision. That sounds to me like they are looking for funds/investment to get UWE done?
Just listened to Michael Cunnah. Excited about the stadium now. All the fine details getting looked at. I reckon the stadium will look better than what the original plan was.
Just watched those clips...we really have some serious operators on board now! They mean business, and they have the contacts, experience and qualifications to make things happen. We're still stuck in L2, but if I was SL I'd be concerned. He may be richer but listening to the new blokes makes him sound like small fry.
It seems at last that this new stadium might become a reality, a long time after we left Eastville for Bath back to the Mem with the possible new stadiums at Stoke Gifford, then Kingswood, then Avonmouth. I remember all the disappointments as one by one they all evaporated. Now we can look forward to state of the art 20000 all seater stadium with senior/directors/ management who are keen to take the club forward based on solid foundations, and people are wondering why we are getting excited

Its not looking enviously at SL. Its more like gloating at him. After all, didnt he say something like soon Rovers will be gone? How did that work out for you SL?
