I could send you some in a taxi, from Chester Le Street, your treat?

Go to shop mate, probably won't be at least until tomorrow when they decide on the other charge.

Is he allowed to leave the country to work abroad (Probably Turkey, they'll take anybody) if he gets a suspended sentence?

Adam Johnson did not show any emotion in the dock as he was found not guilty of partaking in sexual activity with a child involving the 15-year-old performing a sex act on him.

The jury have been sent back out to continue deliberating the second count.

This relates to alleged sexual touching by Johnson.

The judge has said he will not accept a majority verdict.

Yes, it's up to the other country if they'll accept him. He should **** off to Cambodia with Glitter.

Not sure if he can leave the country when he's got a register to sign though...

Just checked and as long as he notifies the local cop shop, that he intends leaving the country for longer than 3 days and gives them all the details of where he's going, travel etc. Then yeah, any of our sex offenders are allowed to leave the country, it's up to which country they intend to go to if they want to accept them.

That suprises me really. So anyone handed a suspended sentence could theroetically leave the UK for the duration to make sure they don't commit another crime?

I'm fairly sure I read that Ched Evans had been prevented from leaving the country to play for another club. Am I just imagining that?

I didn't expect anything else, mate. You are technically a free man, unless you **** up again. That's the only way the sentence will come into play.

The jury is being asked to try and reach a unanimous verdict on the remaining count, but has been told by the judge he will accept a 10-2 majority. - Sunderland Echo

Thinking about it surely it depends what goes with it? Say he gets 1 year suspended for 2 then he might also have to see a probation officer reguarly for those 2 years? Can't imagine him being allowed to leave then...

Could be different with every case I suppose.
