Only when we were all younger...then became the manager and that's just a minefield not to be stepped on lol..
Indeed. I wouldn't dream of it now, but back then smashing the office ladies was almost a contractual company perk, lol. Went through an entire office at one site - barring one - and my mate had her. Good times.......until one of the husbands found out
Nope. Closest was my first good friend I made after moving to America (she's still a good friend). She worked same place as me one summer and one night in college we snogged half the night . She wanted me to take her virginity but I didn't because I thought it would make things awkward. (we wern't working same place at the time though). Got married a year or so after graduating University so never really had much of a window of time that hooking up with a coworker was an option.
Dunno..most popular comment appears to be woman made best boss.. As for the shagging...its a two way street. Absolutely certain women share their work stories too...and of course are free to do so right here.... It's actually something we joke about at the Xmas do..those of us male and female that joined the organisation all those years ago and how we'd have been at it like rabbits on a work do and now most have to run home to partners and kids. Or we all grumble that the new set of young ones don't seem to be as adventurous as we were lol.. Youth today eh? Lol
I was in Barcelona last week with my daughter. As we got on a train she said "Oh no, it's a lady driver. Ladies can't drive trains" She, of course, meant it in a sort of post-ironic feminist way- I just said I didn't see a problem as she wouldn't have to park it. That sexist enough for you? The pilot on the way back was a female person as well, btw. They're everywhere.
I'm starting to feel the weight of my comments, I have to go back to the fact that I'm posting this from personal experience and I have stated that I have had some very good female co-workers and managers. I have to stand by my experience though and have had too many bad experiences with women in the wokplace to shuffle it off as me being a bit sexist.
