I would book the flights for the 'big 5' to go and form a European Super League. Interesting how the money is being talked about as from the US. This would suit their model of sport - I hope they go the whole hog and 'franchise' the clubs right to enter - now that would be interesting when one of the City's mentioned loses one of it's teams to a Milton Keynes equivalent. I would laugh for a very long time. The football may be of a higher quality at the moment, but the excitement for many teams is missing.

 

EUFA spokesman has said this is a red herring....we already have a European Superleague, called the Champions League and we are very happy with it.

I suppose we forget that it won't just be our league that objects to this....so will other leagues abroad.

 

I think this to replace the CL not PL for teams involved which is what I thought this morning. More likely to happen imo n a load of bollocks.

PL clubs are denying that a breakaway league is planned, but rather a European competition. Strange that they want a new competition when they can hardly find the time to play in the FA Cup. EUFA won't be pleased as it could threaten their income surely.

 

Yeah seems as though the plan is to pretty much leave UEFA competition? And just have their own one instead. Ridiculous.

 

So CL would be a joke.

 

I presume this has triggered the FA into suggesting no replays, out of the blue. Or is it a coincidence? You know what? I'd say sod you, and have endless replays and no sodding penalties and suggest they deal with it in anyway they think fit. Hopefully, they'd bugger off.

The way I understand it, he should be being checked for a minor stroke. People who suddenly feel faint and fall over may be required to be checked for concussion afterwards, but that wasn't the cause of him falling over.

 

Spot on TSS. The technical term is TIA, or transient ischaemic attack. The symptoms only last a few minutes, and unlike a full CVA (stroke) there are no lasting effects. It could also be epilepsy of course. Either way, he needs a thorough check up to find the cause.
