Ched Evans has had his appeal date set, apparently more information for the defence that wasn't used or available?
looks like the possibility of his conviction being quashed.
Just think of the consequences that could lead to?

    What are they?

I'm not sure he's owed anything back, if he didn't want to ruin his career, maybe he should have been at home with his partner instead of gang banging some bird in a hotel.

    Unlucky Ched, but tough ****.

When he was found guilty then he deserved what he got, however he has always insisted on being innocent hence he has been chasing this hearing since his conviction.
Hardly gang banging some bird when I believe there were only 2 footballers, so maybe gang banged was a little over the top.
My point being though that the consequences would be of him being perhaps wrongly imprisoned and due to that, the financial compensation due to him for loss of earnings and projected loss due to him being labelled a racist.

If his conviction gets overturned and I think it will do. He will be owed nothing morally, but legally, he'll claim an absolute fortune.

He wont get much at all for the false imprisonment. His case will be all about his loss of earnings. If the charge is overturned then I also hope another team takes him back on.

just wrapped false imprisonment and loss of earnings etc. in one package.
Agree as well that it would be good if he were able to carry on playing football.
