We have got to some luck against them, the only problem could be that 2 of them are signing for Glasgow rangers in the summer and would want to sign off in a positive manner
So many rivals are playing each other that it's hard to predict who's going to emerge from the pack. I still think we'll make a strong finish. If we get anything from Pompey that would be great, but there are still plenty of games left...
I don't think we'll overhaul Portsmouth, Plymouth, Oxford or Northampton (who look home and dry). But we'll finish comfortably in the playoffs in fifth or sixth.

Our next 5 games will shape the rest of our season. 3 of the next 5 games will be tough. We have to face.... Wycombe (away) - 8th 1 point behind us. Hartlepool (home) - 21st 23 points behind us. Notts Co (away) - 15th 11 points behind us. Wimbledon (home) - 10th 2 points behind us. Mansfield (home) - 5th 1 point above us. I know no game is easy but if we really want top 7, we have to beat Hartlepool and Notts Co. The 3 tough games are Wycombe, Wimbledon & Mansfield. We got a chance here to knock them back and for us to stamp our authority into the top 7.
Third place is definitely achievable. Oxford are on a poor run and we can catch them quite quickly with a decent run.
Form table looks interesting http://www.soccerstats.com/formtable.asp?league=england4 Look at both the last 5 game form table and 10 game form table. Looking just at teams around us.... Wycombe, Oxford and Portsmouth look to be struggling a bit over the last 5 and 10 games. Wimbledon, Accrington and Cambridge look to be showing good form and consistancy over the last 5 and 10 games.
In that link above, you can click on home and away above the table so you can see the form table at home and away. Our home form is very good. Away form is poor. Its completly changed from the 1st half of the season.
Carlisle got a game tomorrow vs Wimbledon. A draw would be good for us. Here are the rest of the games tomorrow, which all effect us! Accrington vs Notts County Barnet vs Portsmouth Exeter vs Oxford Yeovil vs Plymouth I cant see anything going our way here so if anything does go our way, it will be massive for us! Northampton are playing too but no point looking out for them now as they are way out ouf sight! Saturdays game are interesting..... Wycombe vs Rovers Portsmouth vs Cambridge Wimbledon vs Oxford So points will get dropped right aorund us. We must win our game. I know it wont decide our fate but if we win, we put distance between us and them and on a day where teams around us will be dropping points. The table on Saturday come 5pm will look very good for us or very bad!
If we win on Saturday then our position should improve after all Portsmouth Cambridge Wimbledon and Oxford can't all win
It's a mini league down as far a Exeter or maybe even Notts County. I'll be surprised if Accy last the pace, but things are shaping up for an interesting race to the line.

Yeah by next Wednesday then everyone will have played the same amount of games its going to be a very interesting end to the season.
Imagine what the table would look like if we had beat Wycombe and Barnet - which we really should have done!! We would be on 59 points now 5 points behind 3rd but would have a game in hand. But our recent away record has put us in a position where we are 1 of 8 teams who are fighting for 3 play off spots.
