So, what's the reasoning for Arsenal getting an extra days rest if they beat us? Surely whoever wins the replay the game V Watford should be scheduled for the same day. Not Saturday if we win or Sunday if Arsenal do. Hardly fair on Watford not knowing until the Tuesday night.
I don't understand why there's a different day, if we beat Arsenal, they'll be playing West Brom on the 12th anyway.
All I can think of is the Metropolitan Police want the Arsenal game on the Sunday. Really pissed off with the 12 PM kick off but I guess your long distance fans are not turning cartwheels either! Cracking season for you boys so far btw - hoping to renew hostilities next season as well as this
We play Forest on the Tuesday so we couldn't play on the Sunday if we get through (BT want a double header like Sky have Super Sunday but the FA told them the Hull City/Forest game can't be moved too leaving us on the Saturday). So the Sunday 13:30 is BT's preferred date and time only we can't play in it. Regarding the replay itself, there's some speculation it was supposed to be on the BBC at 7:45 for the Tuesday but UEFA blocked it (which we already know) so the BBC passed up the game to BT. Some media outlets also reporting UEFA will still fine the FA for allowing a game be televised against theirs.
More pressure on them to get a result then. Arsenal are nothing special this season. They are beatable if we believe we can beat them.
Correct. I think our back up / shadow players will have a point to prove. No pressure at all. Same team as the first game for me. (if fit of course).
Call me negative, but we probably got lucky the first game, any other day and they would of cruised it 3-0. If we are to stand any chance, we will have to show some desire to get up the other end. If we try camp in our own half for the first 80mins, I cant see us being so lucky this time. I appreciate we cant play them at there own game with open football, but we have to take it to them a little more and not just in the last 10 mins.
Ticket details should the Tigers secure a place in the Sixth Round of the Emirates FA Cup next week.... Should the Tigers be successful in overcoming Arsenal in the Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round Replay next Tuesday night, the Sixth Round tie against Watford would take place at the KC Stadium just four days later. The tie with the Hornets would be played on Saturday 12th March with a 12.30pm kick-off time. Given that there would be such a short turnaround time, a ticketing plan has been put in place should the Tigers make it through to face Watford. In the event of a victory over Arsenal, tickets for the Sixth Round tie with Watford would go on sale online at 10pm on Tuesday night. Tickets would be available to both Season Card holders and non-Season Card holders, although Season Card holders’ seats would be reserved until 7pm on Thursday. Please note that tickets for part of North Stand block N3, as well as N4 and N5, would not be available to purchase due to competition rules regarding the size of ticket allocation for the visiting team. Any Season Card holders with seats in the above blocks will have the opportunity to purchase an alternative seat. Tickets would then be made available to buy from our self-service ticket machines at the KC Stadium and Tiger Leisure store in Prospect Shopping Centre, over the phone (01482 505600, 9am-6pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and in person from the Tiger Leisure store at the KC Stadium (9am-7pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Due to the short turnaround time, please note that all tickets bought online (unless ‘print at home’ is selected) and by telephone would be left for collection. A designated collection point would be open in The Dugout Bar (South Stand) from 10.30am to 7pm on Thursday and Friday. Ticket prices for the potential tie with Watford have been confirmed as follows: £26 Adults £15 Seniors (65+) & 19-22 Year-Olds £10 Aged 18 and Under http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...cket-details-2989015.aspx#kciPzyhk8F3rvqzA.99
Hopefully it'll be needed, although its Arsenal, so probably not, however that is good work from the club in difficult circumstances.
