    A season unbeaten can't be a fluke.

Utd's in 98/99 or Spurs in 60/61? Not sure what Wenger had to do with either, to be honest.

Fair enough ... my own take is a little different i.e what about the rights of the disabled? ... in a civilised, increasingly secular modern society, should they really be subjected to views publicly expressed that depict them as a reincarnation of something bad or evil? ... no neee to respond - I respect your point.

You have to remember that according to Hoddle, HIAG has only been given half a brain due to sins in a former life.

    I'll respond anyway! <laugh>

Freedom of speech trumps freedom to avoid being offended, for me.
I also don't think that Hoddle was saying anything negative about disabled people, exactly.
Here's a short article that explains it from the perspective of a believer: http://www.hinduismtoday.com/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=4345

One trophy is more than two or three? I disagree.
Add to that the fact that it was a team of cheats that shouldn't even be in the top-flight... <whistle>

But a premier league season unbeaten is still unbelievable even now.

I'll not dispute that freedom of speech probably tops my list too (even if that seems contradictory in light of my stance) but I do think it also comes with responsibility ... and that is my real point. Extreme views exploiting 'differences' have been used to justify some of the most heinous acts in human history - are we saying that only when we make laws to counter someone's 'right' to express them publicly shoul;it make a subsequent expression wrong?

I'll definitely <laugh> leave at this - I was very disappointed to hear Hoddle's views - if he'd merely kept them to himself whilst acknowledging that he was a religious
man then I'd still have respect for him today - not doing so was IMHO irresponsible of such a public figure - and needlessly caused hurt and anguish to many disabled people and their families. Now let's move on!

Back to HIAGs usual fcuk up on a WUM thread ... <laugh>

.. overly generous ... I think he shares it with a couple of others ... although, somewhat bizarrely, he is still able to post at times without it <laugh>

He did say he shared an alter ego with a dummy. Perhaps they also share 1/4 each ?

HIAG's wfu's are so plentiful it's hard to choose a winner.

Maybe somebody should start a thread with a vote for the best one ? <whistle>
