Clucas has 5 goals. Only diame and Hernandez have more.

No matter what happens this season 4 good things have come out of it. Odubajo (improving every game and his confidence is growing - surprised he hasn't been mentioned as a target when Robbo has..) same rules apply to Robertson and a bit behind them Clucas. I'm of the opinion that we really don't know what his position is whereas the other 2 are very defined. Lastly and definitely not least Harry Maguire, I think he will become something of a legend here in time if we aren't stupid enough to let him go aka Rosie.

    And Tymon.
5 young players there- that's half a team.
We might get some or all of Akpom, Hayden and Powell too.

Much better buying than recent years .

What's Bruce's job if not to manage players and get the best out of them? We keep hearing weak excuses like that about Elmo's agent. Obviously none of the Burnley, Boro or Brighton players have agents or they wouldn't be outperforming our vastly superior players.

The naughty step has always been and always will be a manager's way of kicking a daft player up the arse.

Are you talking about Steve Bruce here? If so, you do know that he played a bit of football in his time, right?

I'd be inclined to do the exact opposite (of what you think). :emoticon-0109-kiss:

We got a point. Hardly a disaster. A 4 point week is not to be sniffed at and we are still funning at almost 2 points per game.

Some on here have there high's way too high and there low's way too low. A fine balance is needed.

Elmo's lost 5 yards of pace. No manager in the world can change that.

    Indeed so. <ok>:emoticon-0103-cool:

A tad cynical ^^^^^ this. I just think that Elmo has had a bad season season by his standards. It had to happen at some point.

For me it's the little partnerships tat can take time to gel.
Elmos partnership with onion bhaji has not hit the heights that we had hoped. There is still plenty of time for Elmo to make a contribution this season but unless you move Snodders then Elmo time will be limited.
Elmo has been a standout performer for the last few seasons, the guy is not a machine so let's support him .
    All hail Elmo<party>

Elmo has had a lot of energy but he hasn't always been good, there was one point where he couldn't cross to save his life (still kept his place in the team though).

I think in several games Elmo has tried to make Odders look like a ****.
It doesn't convince the crowd, Ahmed.

We can see your playing to the gallery and gesticulating at the 'errors' and 'misunderstandings' you seem to blame the kid for.
You were supposed to be his mentor, senior partner etc down the flank, not trying to make him look poor.
If there is confusion about who makes the runs and when, sort it in training - don't squabble on the pitch.
I've never once seen Odders call Elmohamady when things go tits up , he just gets his head down and gets on with it.
    Elmohamady could learn from him.

Overnight? He's not exactly old so how could he lose 5 yards of pace all of a sudden.

Everyone else has transfer windows and agents. It being the excuse every time we play poorly is bizarre. I've never heard it used before this season.
