Would much rather be facing a Bilic side than a Sam allardyce side, even though i think Bilic is twice the manager sam is, at least West ham will come to play football. I think we are better than them in pretty much every department, not sure why everyone wants to take a draw, we need to go for the win.
The White Elephant cost the British taxpayer £537m West Ham are paying £2.5m a year in rent for 99 years That means West Ham will be paying a total of £247.5m in rent - leaving £289.5m of the construction costs unpaid The figure that your club, Newham council and LOCOG have scammed out of the British taxpayer is thirteen times the figure you pulled out of your backside, so this asks a simple question: are you so monumentally dense that you think 40 is a larger number than 537? Because that's the only possible conclusion that any educated person could deduce from your response.
Don't know what you mean... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...raiser-attracts-guests-PM-sex-shop-queen.html (Sorry for the Fail link) You forgot to mention Dionne Knight, the Olympic Park Legacy Company project director, by the way. She was living with Ian Tompkins, an executive at West Ham, who were also paying her a consultancy fee. All above board and fair though, obviously.
Let West ham have the stadium for all I care, all they are basically doing is renting it for 30 odd days a year, they will not be able to call it there spiritual home and it won't feel like it either. They will be playing football on it one day then the next day will be a Beyonce concert or something slightly worse, let them get on with it. Actually Something alot worse than Beyonce! That's best case scenario. Probably more like Kayne west.
It says it all that their solution to the yawning gap between the removable seats and the actual stands is...covering them with a black tarp. Because that won't make it look obvious or anything!
I agree. Three or four teams are near the top with 11 games to go. Whoever finishes ahead of the others very likely won’t drop many points the rest of the way. That said, four points from our next two games would at least ensure we’ve gained ground on Arsenal in what might be our toughest week of fixtures.
Just a reminder, your points of view are very welcome but personal abuse is not allowed on the Spurs board. Let's keep it friendly.
Merson's view of the game West Ham v Tottenham - 7.45pm, Wednesday please log in to view this image This could be the hardest game Tottenham have got left to play this season (I know they play a north London derby on Saturday - but if Arsenal play like they did at Old Trafford, they'll get turned over). Every West Ham fan does not want Tottenham to win the Premier League and the atmosphere will be like a cup final on Wednesday night. Mark Noble was on The Fantasy Football Club recently saying the atmosphere against Liverpool was phenomenal - and I think this will be the same. The best I can see Tottenham coming away with is a draw. There's not a lot between these teams on their day and I can't believe the bookies have got West Ham at 3/1 to win at home. PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1 And Lawro's (along with James Skelly from The Coral) please log in to view this image West Ham v Tottenham A lot of people are looking at Tottenham and thinking they can win the league - and they probably think they can themselves as well. But this is a tough game for them because West Ham are not just a skilful side, they are very strong too. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 James's prediction: I want West Ham to win but Spurs are on a roll. 1-2
BTW I think we should thank PNP for putting up these match threads. We have perhaps been taking his work for granted a little. Thanks PNP
He's a ****ing Scouser. Why does he want the team that's five points ahead of them to beat one that's 16 ahead?
Probably hasn't given up on the title yet. I see Lawro has kept the unbeaten record of Arsenal and Liverpool going. A fine achievement for them both.
Carroll's back, Dembele's still out and Alli's ok, but will be assessed before the game, according to Pochettino. Really could do with the Belgian back for the Goons, at least.
