I voting for : He ****ed up on purpose and made a compete tit of himself. But only because it's part of his razor sharp wum arsenal ......
Lads, I knew that when I started this thread (and, yes, I did stand back and consider whether or not I should), it would open the can of worms of the Century!. And I can tell from the replies already made that this is a subject that will not go away until Wenger has gone. Discuss.
It's plain to see that you are never going to agree with Merson, because he takes a diametrically opposed view to Wenger. The problem you have, Pixie, is that he is an Arsenal legend, and you are some non-entity bell end. Pretty sure everybody who has commented has clocked that.
The collective dismissiveness on here is rather depressing ... HIAG was obviously being allegorical with his references and if you closed minded types had taken some time to broaden your minds and do some research you would have discovered that, whilst admittedly somewhat obtuse, HIAG's depiction was not entirely without merit ... Merson has been around far longer than you less knowledgeable types could possibly know and in a metaphorical sense might be considered indeed 'invincible' ... I think some apologies are not just in order but completely necessary ... for the sanctity of the board. Whilst you take some time out to consider your shame and draft approriate apologies I will share this with you ... please log in to view this image ... I have it on good authority that Paul Merson is second from the right (photo black and white but undoubtedly an early Arsenal replica shirt) and is pictured just prior to Geronimo (far right) and the surrender of his seemingly 'invincible' war band .. the photo obviously pre-dates Wenger's invincibles ...
Yes, I know. Please, Stan - for the love of fcuk! - read my best-selling book, "The Rules of Master Wummage."
I don't agree with Merson, because he is a bellend. Coincidently, that also explains why you seem to share his views
Let me get this straight, because I seem to be missing something, here... Merson, according to you, is a (quote) bell-end (unquote). Yet, he is an undisputed Arsenal legend. You are also a bell-end. And you are.... not an Arsenal legend. So, using basic mathematic principles, let's scratch out the two "bell-ends" and we are left with Merson being an Arsenal legend. And - oh, look! - you've completely fcuking disappeared! What a surprise! So, there we have it, folks! Merson's opinion counts for more than Pixie's.
Yes, you missed the fact that Merson never played in the 'Invincibles' team. Hence why you're squirming now
Bambi, you have an awful lot of Rupert The Bear memorabilia. Is it because he reminds you or your mum?
There are 3 types of mathematician ... those that can count ... and those that can't.. (Shamelessly plagiarised from a recent guest post on our board - to whom any credit should go ).
No, I didn't! That was entirely part of my wum, you twat! And, even if I did fcuk up on that particular point, so what! Merson is still an Arsenal legend, who is telling you - a complete and utter bell-end who loves Wenger - that the senile old goat should get the sacked if either Leicester or Spurs win the league. Now, rather than run away from the subject like the coward that you are, can you, please, confirm whether you agree with him or not. And regardless of which answer you give, can you please state why?
So, yes, in other words, little homo Rupert reminds you of your mum. I'm glad we cleared that one up, Bambi.
