This is the shock headline of the decade! Ex Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has come out and said what a lot of Gooners have been saying for a while, including this site's very own IQ87, that Wenger should be sacked if either Leicester or Spurs win the title. In the past, the likes of IQ87 (and many others) have been shouted down by the ruling elite on the Gooner board, principle among which is Pixie and that other mod. Many of us have been unfairly banned from their board for daring to voice the same criticism. But there is no running away this time for the Wenger apologists, as former "invincible" comes out and openly declares that his vote is with IQ87, me and many others. This is a voice that cannot be shouted down. What do you lads think? Is Merson right to call for Le Prof's sacking? Clearly, this is a story that will not go away, now.
As a neutral, I would say it's not the first time we have witnessed the long term affects of drugs and drink on this guy. Be mad to get rid of Wenger. He loves that club. Wenger in.
Merson's ramblings are on a par with John 'Aldo' Aldridge for the RS. They both talk absolute ****e. Wenger will never be sacked. Even when he dies, he'll still be on the touchline decaying in that 8ft long coat he wears.
Merson is to punditry what Glenn Hoddle is to disabled rights. Both great players, but unmitigated disasters when they open their mouths.
