Bodin didn't ring a bell Had to Wiki him. Can't remember him but 6 games on loan I'm not blaming myself.
Justin Fashanu made one very brief subs appearance alongside that back four if I remember right. Bristol Rovers or Swindon away. Another ****e player [but RIP all the same.]
Gonna go with a 1-1 draw for this one more out of hope than anything but Stoke seem to struggle to keep clean sheets and aren't exactly prolific BUT then again we are utter ****e, can't score and can't keep a clean sheet for love nor money so....
We had better get a togetherness pretty damn soon as it's looking like any 3 from 5 to go down. Bournemouth and WBA just pulling clear. Villa down after losing tonight and Mackems sneaked a point so it's brown pants time boys, especially as I think we'll struggle to beat Bournemouth.
We play all the other 6 teams at the bottom of the table in the last 12 games (4 of them at home). You'd think these games are going to be pretty vital in us surviving. Losing to Sunderland and Norwich in back to back games would be particularly catastrophic.
Oh we've had worse than that recently, what about: Ramage-----Bramble----Boumsong-----Babayaro i.e. the back 4 that Cheltenham Town ripped apart in the FA Cup in 2006
Away at Peterborough in the league cup in 1991, I was there - one of the most depressing matches I've ever seen. Pretty depressing for him too, as the away dressing room got broken into during the match and he got his wallet nicked.
If we get Trounced as Captain puts it, I can easily see movement in terms of management. One of the quotes I read from McClaren was about players being RUSTY due to lack of games over the last couple of weeks!!!! How on earth can he say this? Its McClarens fault we arent in the cup and we've had a lengthy break, and a week ago he was banging on about the spanish break and how well it would do us. Seems to me his getting his excuses out prior to losing. Im getting a bottle of brandy in to try and get myself through tonights game, really not looking forward to this despite waiting a couple weeks for this game to come round.
I read a short piece this morning and Tufty seems to be conceding defeat before even getting to the ground, there was quite an air of negativity about it, Stoke were always going to be tough at the best of times and with the game in hand being to Man City it is scary how close we really are to heading into the Championship, Ashley is leaving this too late in the hands of Tufty nut.
Just to say that even though I doubt this will be a good night if we do manage even a point I will be opening a bottle of Bushmills 10 Year Old Malt at about 10pm tonight cause even one point is that precious.
Read on Twitter that Townsend could be out, he is having a late fitness test! Im not saying it’s the be all and end all if he doesn’t play, but he certainly makes a big difference. I feel like im in a bad mood about this game already and we still have 9 hours or something until kick off! These bunch of tossers better fooking put in the best fooking performance of their miserable fooking careers tonight and get us the fook oot of this fooking sh!te they managed to wrangle us in!
