If she had hoodwinked him into believing she was an adult I may have had some sympathy for him. However, regardless of how old or young she looked, he knew exactly how old she was and therefore deserves all what he gets..

 

Lasses become sexually mature before they become mentally mature. Lads are way behind on both. Young lasses are often attracted to and sometimes go after older men because of these differences. That's why there's laws in place. to protect both parties. When both parties, who both know the difference between right and wrong, disregard the law then this happens. Now he's a registered nonce and she's got the AJ tag hanging over her for the rest of her life. The law takes away the gray area, they both knew from start to finish it was wrong.

As for the lass I hope she learns from this and manages to turn this into a positive, get herself away to uni and make something of her self away from the cruel tags at home. But shifting her regrets will be her main challenge, something I believe she should be provided professional help with.
