With emphasis on the word "won", from what I remember. It's still a stain on the Premier League's reputation that he never got sent off. The same is true of Diego Costa, IIRC. Nightmare strike pairing.
He did a lot wrong but diving wasn't really his thing after his first season with us, he seemed to learn that quite quickly. Unfortunately he had other faults, the pens though were on large genuine.
United won again at the weekend.... Spurs go within 2 points of the PL summit.... Everton land their Billionaire..... ....and the kopites lose at Wembley....on penalties All told not a great weekend for dem red men
... are you not worried about the Arsenal game Loki? ... not wumming just interested ... in some ways I think it might actually have benefitted you to have been a point behind them (or level) coming into that game (which might, of course, still happen) ... It is going to be something of a new experience and perhaps, more weight of expectation, if you have your neck in front so near to the business end of the season .. as I said, no wummery ..
I'm not really getting cheered up by this thread. I just used the laugh out loud emoticon though so maybe I'm wrong. There it is again.
I'm worried about every game. It would be cocky not to be. Regardless of what people think about this league being poor blah blah. I think it is the most competitive in the world. Any team can beat any other team on their day. However I don't think Arsenal are better than us. It's up to us, if we are hungry enough then we can beat them. It's at that stage now when it's all about mental strength and focus. I totally agree with you about the logic behind being a point behind. After all we have won 17 points from losing positions in the league this season. More than any other team. So we do like to comeback and overtake. However I won't reject being 3 points ahead of them. This is why I am extremely happy to go into the last 4 or 5 games being the odd point behind your team and don't mind sitting behind your bunch, currently. Once you hit the top, it's maintain or fall. We still have a chase on..and we like it that way.
