Alright guys, as this will be more of a challenge to us than previous friendlies I thought I would put up for score predictions for tonights game, also have a crack at who you think the first scorer will be!!? I'm going for a 2-1 win for city and the first scorer to be morison. Nice Little guess as I have no idea what the line up will be lol.. I shall post line ups and updates of the game as I get them like previous matches. OTBC Team Line ups Norwich :- Ruddy, RMartin, Barnett, DeLaet, Tierney, Crofts, Fox, Johnson, CMartin, Holt, Jackson Palace :- Speroni, Clyne, Wright, McCarthy, Davies, Ambrose, Garvan, Scannell, Murray, Easter, Parsons
Would make a nice change to beat them (if we do!) I will go for a 4-1 to City, first scorer - Simeon Jackson
Bit precise there jimbob, loving the optimism though. Im expecting it to be tight match, though Lambert has stated.that th players who are more likely to be in his first XI plans will be getting longer time on the pitch so tonight we shall see what Lambert has in his mind. I think over the next 3 games we shall see different line up and tactic from the off.
just remember, palace are a week ahead in terms of training and fitness so it will certainly be no easy match. also they are a bit of a bogey team!
there is a palace fan at work, and apparently their team has completely changed compared to last season, plus there are some trialists there who could play tonight - either way its a tougher test tonight. we'll use the squad a lot given 3 away games in 4 days 2-2 i reckon holt and surman
Team line up to start match is as follows :- Ruddy,R Martin, Barnett, De Laet, Tierney, Crofts, Fox, Johnson, C Martin, Jackson & Holt... Subs as follows :- Rudd, Whitbread, Francomb, Hoolahan, Surman, K. Smith, Adeyemi, Brindley, Dawkin, Morison, Wilbraham, Lappin, Bennett So either a diamond or a 4-3-3 to start our first competitive friendly by the looks of it.
okey kokey, 4-0 it is beef... As for palace they will line up as follows:- Speroni, Clyne, Wright, McCarthy, Davies, Ambrose, Garvan, Scannell, Murray, Easter, Parsons
I must say, theres alot of optimsitic score lines on here, we shall see if any of them happen! The match is under way... OTBC
