Nah, I thought Joel had a blinder, but had literally run himself into the ground. Toure's goal was pure quality and sometimes you can't legislate for them. You can say Aaron switched off for a split second or that we should have pressed more but, honestly, how often would that goal have come about? You're right though, special mention to Campbell for his efforts not just last night but recently. However, if we're talking about stuff I really enjoyed seeing it was seeing the former wet blanket Nacho throwing the smack down on the Citeh boys. He's unrecogniseable from the timid player we signed initially.
Nacho is my favorite Arsenal player at the moment. Not in terms of ability just as an overall guy. Love his consistency. I have so much trust in him.
Ozil (MoM) - great performance, could have had several assists and scored a beautiful goal which he pretty much made for himself. Today was the Ozil show, in fact most of this season has been the Ozil show! Gabriel - looked solid and was a constant danger from set pieces, got a goal and was close to scoring a second hitting the post instead. Chambers - thought he put in a mature performance in the middle of the pitch, he was communicating well with teammates, kept calm under pressure and all round stepped up to starting in midfield.
Cech (MoM) Monreal Bellerin Campbell also put in a good shift and set up our best chance of the game so is worth a mention.
