The league is now about building for next season, so results still matter to go into next season with momentum, but we can also make the EL the main priority For this game I expect a strong team, with more kids coming in later
Priority is Europa league. However if we win this one, maybe the scum will think they have a chance at top 4 and are distracted when they play us in Europa.
If Man City win, they'll only be 1pt behind Arsenal. Does that mean Man City would be back in the title race or Arsenal are out of it?
I'd say that's the case but I also think Man City are capable of putting a great run together to get back up there. Not so site Arsenal are capable of that. The main question is whether Leicester (or Spurs) can hold their nerve.
The thing going for Spurs, and against Man City, is consistency Perhaps with Kompany back they can put a run together, agreed far more than Arsenal would
I think Spurs could win it. Leicester are going to come unstuck as teams start parking the bus against them
People (including myself) have been saying that about Leicester all season. Plus, sitting deep suits Mahrez as much as pressing them suits Vardy.
I've got a feeling we'll get a result in the league game. For no other reason than it would be sods law; I'd have taken a 5-0 loss in the league if it meant we won the cup today.
If it Wern't for United giving us an easy route to the QF in Europa I'd say: "Meh! Season already over... Bring on summer." As it is I'll just say "Meh! League game."
What a proper **** season. If we could finish the season well though at least it would put the club on a better footing for next year. I really hope we do quite a bit of transfer business. Lallana wont go but I'd love him to. Same Benteke. Milner should be released. Mignolet I'd like to be sold. I'm sure he could do a cracking job at Yeovil Town. Ultimately we have a lot of 'second teamers'. Urgently need a quality CB, a quality CM and a quality striker.
