I was just watching that last night, the one where Ted bets on a prize winning sheep. One of my favourite shows so this is sad news.
Of course not only a lot of high profile celebs have passed away due to cancer - a little bit of a unwanted trend - nothing diminishes a death though
We might as well sticky one of these and list the celebs as they die. The way this year is going, it will be a very active thread. RIP, Loved watching him in Father Ted
I'm gonna buy you a Guinness before the Brom game mate. Me and you'll clack the guinnesses over a roll-up. Looking forward to it. But if it's gotta be a lager for you, I can live with that
My Step-Dad is a Guinness worshipper, mate. He's even got his matching dressing gown and slippers, from Guinness. It's all he's ever drank and won't go to a pub if they don't serve it (fussy sod). Matching your personalities and the fact you are similar age, you'd probably get on like a house on fire! So, I've tried Guinness twice and it's not for me at all, I don't like the taste of any alcohol (apart from a chilled fruity cider, maybe). If I drank for taste, I'd just get a fruit juice or a Lucozade out of the fridge. Lager is to gassy for me and although I've never tasted piss, it tastes like piss! Koppaberg, just remembered the name. That's what I drink
Chernoble? - the amount of cancer victims that are kicking abut (not just celebs) makes me wonder if we were told everything about the dangers at the time
Chernobyl was just 1 amongst hundreds let rip over the last 70 years mate. The only difference was Chernobyl wasn't deliberate. All that crap is still hanging around us even now. And for the next 40,000 years plus...... Just ask the Americans, the French, the Russians and us. Just testing like.
I know - Chernoble was the nearest/latest that springs to mind Three mile Island wasn't deliberate either but what I am saying is the governments don't tell us everything so the increase in cancer victims may not be coincidence
KK there's a hollow but probs very real message - I suppose the government can't be too open always in order to maintain control whether we like it or not - esp when they we were unsure of future consequences - life is a rollercoaster full of good & dangerous things - control is is one of the later - basically I'm sure Father Ted would have an answer - lol
I don't think so either. The day you start believing them, you're in trouble. But I doubt those 2 events have had a measurable impact on cancer rates these days mate. The japenese event a couple of years ago just adds to the atmospheric influence upon the thousands of nuclear ground tests that have already occurred. It's a big planet. Getting smaller every day. I'm guessing that all that anti-perspirant crap that women rub into their armpits over the last 50 years or so also counts for a massive increase in breast cancer. You can't rub all those chemicals into your skin without consequences, That's just me thinking out loud though.
