Happy to see that WBA fans are holding a bucket collection at their next home match with the proceeds going to a charity of Chris Brunt's choice and good to see an arrest has been made! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-35642186
Mignolet showing what a fine line goalies trend. An awful mistake for the City goal but 4 great saves!
Caballero was exceptional in the shoot out. Glad they won as the ref had to follow a new rule which prevented him from awarding penalties and yellow cards. Joke of a performance but thankfully justice was done.
Assuming Citeh qualify for the Champions League, it also frees up another European place in the league. That means we are currently just six points off a Europa League place.
Looks like it's from Swansea and below in battle to stay up with Palace holding Sunderland and Bournemouth winning .
Watched the Bournemouth/Southampton game. I don't think Southampton had a shot on target. They were very poor.
I didn't see it, but are some of these players believing they should not have to play mid-week games?
They certainly looked as if they didn't want to be there. Bournemouth didn't have to do much to win but at least they showed a bit of intent. I don't know whether it's just my imagination, but there seem to be fewer quality games in general in the PL of late, though from what I've seen I'd exclude Leicester who have been good to watch. Certainly the "big" clubs appear to me to be underperforming.
Video refs by 2017/18? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35736241 Long been debated but maybe will soon be reality..
