On a slightly more positive note, I thought Lucas was outstanding at the back. Put our other CBs to shame with their performances this year.
Don't worry guys. Channel 403 to watch some proper football now instead of that English dross we've had to suffer through all day.
so i watched the game, 1. it was a game of very little quality... extremely little 2. We didn't deserve anything out of it and should have lost by 4/5 in normal time. 3. City some how managed to miss 4 open goals, some great saves yes mingolet. 4. We fared a bit better in extra time, missed 2 good chances 5. we were woeful on pens. first 3 were all "tricks" waiting for keeper to commit, first game off and then we made fools of ourselves. thats cockiness. 6. their pens were brilliantly taken and mingolet got it right each time which proves they were brill pens. 7. City thoroughly deserved to win it so well done to them. 8. sturridge... please explain how he was doing anything other than hide? playing at RCM most of game or running away from goal... if nothing else young rashford proved you get in the box and you might score. What more is there to say... so little quality on show... really really poor. city let us off really
Why? Studge has missed penalties in the past - just because he's a striker doesn't mean he's any good at penalties - I don't think Owen took any penalties, Messi and Ronaldo have both missed quite a few between them as well. Plus, Studge had cramp and was practically shattered come the end. Our captain was practically fighting for the ball off of Balotelli last season - nowhere to be seen today.
how did milner not take a pen, he was my 1st choice i mean, why the **** was he even on the field if after 120mins he didn't even get to take a penalty....ridiculous
Thought Lucas made some big errors, but was really good overall. He's a better CB than DM, that's for sure!
so he's our #1 taker, but in a shoot out #5. lol, klopp clearly didn't even bother with who took or which order
It's all good....to be this average and get to a final...yet more evidence for Klopp to see who doesn't have the bottle....he's a job ahead of him but I'm confident he'll take a knife to this crap...
Its common practice to have you strongest penalty taker at #5. Sometimes it backfires as it did for Portugal (in 2012?) and possibly for us today.
