He didn't JUST say we missed our key players, that's a disingenuous description of what he said. If he had said we lost because of our injuries and a lot of key players are missing, nobody would've said anything, because it would've been a reasonable observation. That's not what he said though, he went on to say he wished all the players were at his level, implying they lost because of his team mates and that there was no blame on him for the result, he then went onto name certain players and implied that they weren't good enough to play with him and that he doesn't like playing with them.

Many people, every time they admit they miss a player in the team.
They are actually saying "I am a first team player and the missing player is too, these replacements are not".

At least he is honest and says it like it is, have your players ever said they have missed Sturridge and it will be good to have him back (they have, all players do when a top player is missing from the team), how does that make the stand-in feel and is it any different to what Ronaldo said?

Does it after every goal, always has. No different to somebody else running off doing a balloon man dance, they all run to the supporters first and wait for their team mates to catch up.

This is why the ass hole will be forgotten while messi will be called world's greatest.

Only mancs and real Madrid call him even close to messi. Why? Cos he is not a team player. He's a dick and as I said... I'd do for him in training if I were his "team mate" and he called me out to excuse himself of responsibility.

You know full well the pen i mean and the Dicks attitude.

Sorry, I obviously don't follow his career as closely as you since he left United. I do know he has always celebrated goals the same way and he takes penalty's (missing quite a few too) <ok>

Hope Rooney isn't out of the Euro's.... it might force Hodgson to pick Sturridge and would rather he stayed at home and rested rather than getting injured again!
