On a sidenote, that's 3 defeats in a row for City now. Leicester, Spurs and now Chelsea. Why Pellegrini felt the need to play such an understrength side, especially given the previous two results going into this one, is a mystery. I get that he wants to rest some players for the Champions League, but they're up against Dynamo facking Kiev. Not exactly world beaters by any means. At the very least, Hart should have been in goal and Kompany needs the minutes, so he should have started in central defence. Yaya Toure doesn't exactly run much anyway, but at least he can provide a threat going forward, so it may have been worth starting him. It would have been worth having Aguero and Silva on the bench to actually try and change the game if needs be. The Champions League may be a more prestigious prize than the FA Cup, but Pellegrini has a far better opportunity to win the latter and should have taken it seriously, especially looking at his team's indifferent league form. That being said, the younger players gave a very good account of themselves against a Chelsea side full of seasoned professionals and international stars. Somewhat ironically, they were let down by Caballero, Demichelis and Fernando - the only senior players that started. It's difficult to tell whether the players have given up on the season because they all know Pellegrini's gone in the Summer.
With the money City have and with the size of their squad, there's no excuse to field such an inexperienced team. Pellergrini doesn't seem to give a **** anymore and to be fair, who blames him?
Fairly ironic that a scheming **** such as Maureen would have a "gentleman's" agreement http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/news...rom-louis-van-gaal/ar-BBpOnhq?ocid=spartanntp I'm almost feeling sorry for LVG..........almost
Well, would you believe it... Sanogo has equalised for Charlton against Reading! They must have an awful defence to let such a terrible player score against them. I still think he will never make it with us, and only Wenger knows why he was bought in the first place, but I hope he impresses on loan so that someone will buy him from us.
I really thought that they would draw today but they managed to pull it outta the bag somehow. Pressure back on us to get a result tomorow...
Big big win that is for us. Pressure back on arsenal and Spurs now....man city losing ground and almost out of it.
You showed mental strength to win when you was playing badly. If you continue to hold it together till the end then the title could be yours, but that's a big IF and you have Arsenal breathing down your neck....
I would imagine they are more concerned about Spurs breathing down their neck, Arsenal breath down peoples necks every season until they run out of breath.
Norwich aren't that good, so I don't think anyone expected them to win the game. And to be honest, I reckon most would have had Leicester down to win the game anyway. But to put in such a solid defensive display in and then lose in the 89th minute will give Leicester so much belief. Really annoying.
