I was keen on him Bucks but then the 24hour recall clause and the 250 k loan fee plus paying his premiership wages!

I think we made the right decision paying 200k for Lonergan and his wages will be less than what Stockdale would be for the year!

    Gotcha!

Shame about the loan recall but it is what it is. We're lucky to have his services, hopefully for the whole season!

Send ALB out on loan now as long as Fulop doesn't chuck his toys out of the pram. He doesn't seem the sort but he's got an international career to revive....

Glad you got him, he will do well I'm sure.

Lets hope he plays the first game against Bristol City!

Thanks mate. The recall is a real pisser but I guess we're happy to live with it.

In an ideal world we'd have the money and be attractive enough to sign Scott Loach.

Stockdale is equally as good but we have to live with the downside.

Just off to make Schwarzer a tubigrip suit <whistle>

The recall isnt an issue for us because his signing is a bonus, whereas Leeds would be stuck without a first choice keeper. That seems to be what's swung it.

Now Stockdale and the other lad face the hard part of finding somewhere nice to live in Ipswich! Actually I guess they will commute, I'm not sure I've ever been to such a dump outside Wales! ha ha ha

Regarding the clause that Fulham can take him back, if in the case that he does go back due to an injury to Schwarzer, would he stay permanently or is there a chance he could return to us once Schwarzer was fit again?

Norwich fan in peace : Great signing, I was hoping Lambert would snap him up - so congratulations on getting him.
