I'm going down a different path for this one, having been unwell these last couple of days! Thought I'll keep it more freestyle. So we return to the valley for yet another year of #FootballForAFiver, which personally I'm thinking that self flagellation, go as far as to say that self immolation, would be more pleasant than watching this game. Over the last couple of days the club have said that "Tickets Are Selling Fast," as eluded to via this tweet: Revelation has unfolded that the club has been giving away free blocks of tickets to schools given the incredibly low take up rate for this match against Reading FC. Not that we can blame fans, it's not exactly produced some exciting games, rather some dull draws against Wigan, or an embarrassing loss against Exeter. C.A.R.D have, instead of supporting the club to get #FootballForAFiver trending, started their own #ProtestForAFiver, which has introduced some quite funny responses from our fanbase: There are quite a few funny ones in there. Also this week, club legend Yann came out and branded our owner as deluded; he wanted to stay but it's evident that they didn't want him there. "I can see him scoring!" A casual observer might say that he's not scored yet for them, but it seems that against us, every out of form striker bangs in a couple. Andre Grey, Ross McCormack, Joe Gardner, etc., the list is endless. C.A.R.D too are apparently got something in the pipleline for protest. Not sure what it is, but I'm hoping it's something big and disruptive. Anyway, I'm going for a 0 - 4 loss with Kermorgant to get two, and someone will throw something at Katrine.
Won't be attending. The fiver game's get on my nerves. The game with the 3000 school kids was bad enough, got moved out my seat 3 times. And the last protest by CARD was such a damp squib I really can't be bothered to make the journey up. I'll be at Brentford next week.
Wait we have Brentford next week? Damn it! Going to have to cancel my date.... WAIT! Unless we get beaten 4-0, then I might go to that
I'm going for the protest, and the hope of seeing the Valley erupt when Kermit scores. He's said now that he would love to come back and play for us, but it would have to be under a different owner. It would be nice to hear that sort of thing from an agent or two.
I was going to go to the protest; but I've been to the others. I've managed to get myself out of bed, don't think I'm going to go on such a cold day. I'm in need to somewhere hot and peaceful.
@CAFCofficial: CHARLTON | Henderson, Fanni, Johnson, Teixeira, Motta, Suk-Young, Diarra, Ba, Gudmundsson, Makienok, Sanogo Yep - that's 7 defensive minded players bar the GK.
Reading 1-0 up. Oh I should add - Kermo. Didn't sound like the home fans cheered like some suggested though.
