I ve now subscribed to City Player. Having watched the Player Cams from Slovenia, I have to say that Aaron McLean reminded me in no short measure of Colin from the Fast Show. You know the kind of annoying work mate who likes to practical joke and everyone thinks is not funny, and in McLean's case especially, is always one word away from a sound beating! Sorry but aside from any talent (or other) on the field, that guy would do more to damage team morale than 4 Bullards and a ***an wrapped into one. Maybe it was just the slick art direction and editing on the vids that made it look that way of course, but I fear not!

Thought McLean was really funny and certainly not a disruptive influence. You need all different types of people in a team to make it work and gel together, McLean just happens to be one of the self-confident ones that gets the rest of the team going and from the videos I didn't see any of the players not getting along with him or finding him annoying.

the Macca - Mclean banter was a laugh, don't think Aaron is a troublemaker at all.. hopefully he's confident enough to put those two glaring misses (Leeds early on & Preston - should have been 4-1) to the back of his mind and practice his finishing..

I wouldn't worry too much, Mclean lives in Leeds so will only see the players at training and team events. He's not going to cause much disruption from out there. Whereas Bullard drags players on nights out and generally sets a bad example to our younger players on how to behave as a professional, it's not his little pranks here and there that cause the problems. There's no comparison.

It's a load of bollocks that Bullard is a disruptive influence. People have speculated that he might disrupt the youngsters with his crazy ways or whatever, and it's fine for them to speculate that. But that doesn't mean he definitely is disruptive, if anything I get the opposite impression. Players seem to love him.

As for McLean, I haven't got TigersPlayer so I haven't seen any of the Slovenia stuff, but I doubt a bit of messing about is going to create a massive rift in the squad.

No mate, that's a load of bollocks . This whole Bullard thing has gone way beyond boring so this will be the last thing I say on the matter.

I have it on fairly good authority that the bloke is a ring piece . The management think he's a grade A tool as do the senior players.

You can take my last comment as a load of made up bollocks or you may chose to believe it.

    I care not .

Why are some people determined to see our team be devoid of personality?

Why is it such a big issue to some?

It's become popular to criticise Bullard and for some reason that means everything abuot him has to be awful, and anyone who doesn't think so is wrong. I don't get it myself. Do you not remember only 2 weeks ago when we didn't know about this latest twist and we were all excited to have him in the side, everyone was pointing out how well the other players got along with him. Many players were tweeting that they thought he was hilarious.

There's no middle-ground on Bullard for some reason. He's either a hero or a villain, usually the latter. I don't get why no one can think (as I do) that he should probably go as his relationship with the management is beyond repair, but he is still a brilliant player and that he's obviously still popular with the players.

'Many players' is pushing it a bit, it was only Aaron Mclean.

Didn't see anything to suggest any of those players didn't get on with him

I suspect all the players have now been told to give him a wide berth.

    I'll contradict myself by replying.

I don't go on Twitter so can't say which players said or tweeted ?? what is relation to Bullard.

I do , however, speak with one or two individuals on a fairly regular basis who know Bullard due to either playing or working for Hull City.

They both say the same thing and that he is very unprofessional and couldn't give a flying **** about the club. One of my two sources also went as far to call him an absolute arse hole .Does that really come as a surprise to anyone ?

I would be interested as to which players thought he was good laugh. My money would be on the young impressionable lads just coming through the ranks.

I'm not saying I like him, just that there seems to be a culture on the boards lately where everything about JB has to be negative. My views aren't that different to the majority, I just think that sometimes people take it a bit far. He may well be very unprofessional and not give a flying **** about the club, but that doesn't mean the players hate him. OLM reckons it was McLean that posted the aforementioned Twitter thing, and I seem to remember the tweet saying that McShane and some others were in stitches laughing with Bullard on the plane to Slovenia.

All I'm saying is it's not necessarily a fact that the players hate him, just because most people on here do.
